As part of Mello Music‘s new monthly series of single releases, Boog Brown has released her first ever vinyl 7”. The B-Side to My Love (Remix), a record originally featured on the ATL femcee’s Brown Study Remixes LP, the previously-unreleased Baby Girl finds producer Georgia Muldrow serving up a head-noddable, sampled beat to back Brown as she offers her worldly wisdom to a young woman growing up in the ‘hood. Boog Brown’s new 7” is available now for purchase, but fans who want a copy should act quickly; each single in Mello Music‘s series is limited to a pressing of 300.

Georgia makes all her beats without samples playing all instruments herself. She is the hardest female beatmaker on the planet right now. Then add Boog Brown on the mic, definitely one of the top female emcees anywhere. Love this combo.

I'm not really into the hard female MC's these days. The beat is OK, but I don't really like the way she sounds over this beat.
