They say whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but, fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your tastes), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony escaped Sin City with a brand new track titled, you guessed it, Vegas. To say that Vegas is a departure from the Bone brothers classic ruggish thuggish style would be an understatement. Instead of their usual banging production, here we have a sparkling club banger courtesy of L.T. Hutton, and while the fantastic five usually devote their rhymes to road crossing or check cashing, here they’re primarily interested in partying, drinking and…well…partying some more. Even more remarkable, BTNH slow down their normal spitfire flow to a steady rumble. Gangsta’s Glory this isn’t. Is Vegas’ party vibe a step in the wrong direction for the classic crew, or is their new sound proof of their versatility? Vegas is being considered as a future single, a fate your opinion will undoubtedly help determine. Either way, the wait for the Bone Thugs’ new album UNI-5: The World’s Enemy is almost over; the album is due out March 2 (hopefully).

wow this is a different look for them, and its good that they are escaping their box to try different things that's what i respect in artist...i like this pop song...this is something they should play in the popular clubs and even though this has a top 40 sound it might not make it, but still a pretty good song...ill put this in rotation

I can see why their underground fans won't like this (maybe similar to Three 6 Mafia?) but I like it. Like the blurb said, it shows their versatility. I like it when artists switch it up like this.

The beat is really cool, and that's wat makes this song for me personally. I've never been a fan of bone thugs but this song is pretty cool. I applaud them for stepping out of their comfort zone. I'm mainly excited about te beat though. I could totally hear that poppin off in the clubs

Step of growth for the classic group...would be even more intrigued to hear them rock over a club-ready beat with their fast-paced flow though

I honestly feel bad writing this, like I'm not being open minded, but as someone who grew up banging East 199 Eternal I just couldn't feel this. It was like watching Michael Jordan play baseball; there's just something fundamentally wrong with this picture.

I must say, Bone thugs actually sounds pretty comfortable and cool over this beat. Even though this production style is straight out of left field for BTNH, they take it, make the most of it, and turn this into a decent song that still has some of their own feel to it.

Not going to lie the first 10 seconds I was like did I click on the wrong track. The beat works well with bone's flow. I'm glad these guys are all back together and I"m looking forward to the album.

Certainly a step in another direction, but it's not a new or innovative direction — just another one.

But overall what matters most to me is, the joint is just decent. Good but not tempting enough to stay in the rotation for a long period of time.

I heard Gangsta's glory today and had a giant wide grin across my face coz it was insanity. Heard this. And the grin is slowly fading away...

I will take this a step further Z & Nathan. Being the elder statesman at the DJBooth I grew up bumping the "Creepin On Ah Come Up" album. That's Bone at their BEST. I admire versatility more than anyone, but when It's not broke don't fix it.

It's definitely not their best stuff but I know every rapper (rap group) has to have at least one mainstream song now a days and this is it. It's not horrible but it's not what separated them from the rest of the pack. I'm glad they're back together and I agree Bizzy and Krayzie went hard.

Funny thing is my gal don't care much for Bone. She didn't even know they still made music. She heard this shit and couldn't believe it was them :) She wants it on her ipod now! As far as I'm concerned, it's cool. Never thought I'd hear them on a poppy beat like this but I must admit, I ...kinda like it. Versatility ain't even the word. These dudes can't rap over a five year old playin' on his first drum set. Even Wish sounded comfortable on this track. LOL! Banger indeed.
