In our very own DJ Z’s recent interview with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (or 80% of them), the crew made it clear they haven’t stopped working and having fun since they recently embarked on an ambitious tour schedule. So what could possibly give their new album another boost a week before its release date? The answer is their new single Everytime, an exceptionally light and summer-ready track considering it revolves around the staggering increase in the hater population around the BTNH nation. The production stylings of frequent collaborator L.T. Hutton gives the song an upbeat feel that will definitely make this a radio-friendly cut, while the Bone Thugs do what they do on every track; drop intricately harmonious flows (and always keep it thuggin’, in case you didn’t know). For the 99.9% of you that like this one, be sure to check out their exclusive DJBooth interview, and be sure to pick up a copy of Uni-5: The World’s Enemy when it comes out May 4.

I think the best way to approach any new Bone material these days is to take it for face value. There is no sense in comparing the new Bone to the old Bone. And no offense to my Bone brothers, but their new material simply cannot touch the their old stuff.

This is average, not bad or spectacular, and should fit in nicely with the rest of the 17 tracks on the new album.

Is it just me or do most of their recent stuff sound too similar? Still not a bad track though.

that beat is nice but it aint special it doesnt shine and neither do the lyrics although they do have their moments this track is just solid and people should enjoy it on the album

Unexpected but refreshing. There are so many things I love about the summer and summer music is one of them. Flawless easy going music.

Seems like there's going to be a lot of competition in May for music sales.

These Bone-Thugs are definitely not the same since they first arrived into hip-hop with Eazy-E. But they found a way for their harmonized style to thrive into a new decade. It is definitely more modern and are not the same bone thugs as they used to be. It's a good song and definitely listenable. Beat is a bit too repetitive. They do a good job, but will never be the same bone, but it's not fair to blame them because music has changed a lot since the 90's.

DJ Z, I agree, and I expect rappers in 2010 to evolve their music and not sound stuck in the mid 90's. That being said, the new sound better be good.

I don't see this going anywhere, but it has some potential and could grow on me. 3.5 stars.

Seems like they're getting too caught up in making mainstream ish. Solid track but I'd rather them stick to the typa tracks that solidified their place in hip hop to begin with.

Not gonna listen to the track but i'll rate it from the snippet i heard on Amazon. I was so hype about this track thinking it was gonna be the best song on the album but sure enough it didn't appeal to me that much, Bone can do so much better

We just will never get classics like "Crossroads" anymore from them. They still make good music but it just doesn't compare to the old school Bone Thugs.

Now he production is repetitive and doesn't change up much at all so after a while it gets old.

The hook isn't the best either and it sounds forced...but one thing will never change about this legendary group....they always bring their signature styles to each of their verse.

Krayzie Bone has always been my favorite...but on here they all shine equally and spit some nice verses.

Good but not great like we should expect.

@Blaze31 - Seems like they're getting too caught up in making mainstream ish.

Cut and paste. Switching off lines like this has a lot of potential, but it honestly feels like they only went in halfway. I don't need every track to be Crossroads, but I do want better than this. Sorry Bones, I got love, but this didn't connect.

At first doesn't seem to have the stay-ability of "1st of the month" or "for the luv of money" but, listening to the verses with this beat...this song is hot!!!

Their change to appeal to the mainstream has progressed pretty smoothly. Although I do prefer the old Bone this revolution in their musical style is still quite enjoyable.

eh this track caught me off guard. While recently Bone Thugs has seemed to have fallen off their game, I do still respect them as their recent Strength & Loyalty album was pretty tight. Production on this really had me wanting to x out of the player. This wasn't bad, but it wasn't something I could see myself listening to all the time. Bone member's all drop lyrical gold, as expected, but that hook was garbage. They can do better than this.

I agree with DJ Z, their new stuff does not compare to their old stuff. Theirs flows on this beat kinda sound awkward though. 3 stars for effort though.

I'm not liking the production too much. Same lyrics with a different beat and I'd say it's a banger.

These Bone's appeal is still there, but not in their music lately. Maybe the bar is set high, but one thing I'm sure: they can reach it.
They still got the talent and just need to put it to use in more enjoyable songs all around.

This was repetitive.

The beat is not the bad unfortunately the verses weren't any better. The chorus was probably the most astonishing thing in the song and its not that great either. So yeah its not that great
