New Def Jam signee bONE uses his first DJBooth feature Home Gurl (Remix) to examine Obama’s health care reform bill, examining its potential implications for spiraling pharmaceutical costs. Sorry, I’m just messing with you. Actually, bONE spends most of Home Gurl rhyming about his c**k. The original Home Gurl had become a bit of a sensation thanks to an addictive beat by JB (see This Is Why I’m Hot, Pop Lock & Drop It, etc.) and some not even remotely family friendly verses from bONE, so it was only natural that some big names (pun intended) got recruited for the remix, starting with Ricky Ross, who delivers an average verse, Bun B, who kills it, and The-Dream, who drops one of the most disappointing performances of his career. This is definitely one of those love it or hate it tracks, so which one will it be Booth nation? bONE’s debut album is currently untitled and unscheduled, but I think we can expect much more entertainingly obscene hip-hop from the young Dirty South rapper soon.

If his first feature is about his d!ck (as if his name is bone, what a coincidence, where was the pun for that Nathan S?).

Anyways I realize this is a supposed to be club single, but honestly, kinda wack, and wow the dream was such a fail, why did decide to suddenly rap?

Why the hell did they remix this already wack song? Just to make it slighty better, which is all thanks to the great Bun B and no help from The Dream and Rick Ross. But even Bun can't save this song.

Haha this was a little out there for me. Not even sure this will find a place in the clubs, beat is decent and although no one at the clubs listen to lyrics, there are way too many hotter songs out there worthy of a 3-hour set. Sorry.

whoa...IDK what to say about this one...its kind of out there...very different though. Bone must be a new artist Dream signed. We'll see how he does. This track is no where near radio play though.

It’s definitely a perk to have access to such big names, but getting them to perform to the best of their abilities is a whole different ballgame.

His flow, lyrics and beat are as generic as they come, even a Bun B verse can not save this cut from the garbage bin.

I've got no problem with this track, it's entertaining for a couple listens, but unless bONE wants to got the way of J-Kwon, Mims, Shop Boyz, Huey etc. he's gonna have to turn out tracks with more substance than this.

And The-Dream verse on this is so bad I think I'm just going to pretend like I never heard it. You're better than this Dream, you're better than this.

Oh, and sorry I couldn't work in a good boner joke WordPlay. Next time my friend, I promise.

I didnt really dig the original - and yes we listened to it without all the all-star guest features - but this has some nice club appeal. I esp liked Dream's contributions.

I am not sold on bONE, but I look forward to hearing the inevitable second single this summer.

This song is so messed up, why remix something that is already bad. I don't think bone is going anywhere.

For the names on this track it was weak. Bun B is the only one who held his own.
