No matter where you are in the world, everyone knows what the expression ‘hit the floor’ means. Since rapper Bohagon is currently getting ready to embark on a one week (six stop) tour through the German cities of Mainz, Stockholm, Cologne and Lahr, the Atlanta-native figured he would brush up on his dance floor lingo before his March 4 departure. Along for the trip (the song that is, not the tour) is fellow A-Town neighbor, Yung Joc, who likewise shows off his bilingual pick-up skills over a beat by up-in-coming producer, Tony Galvin (T.I., P$C, Trina). Bohagon is set to release his Black Cartel/Asylum debut, Who Am I?, later this year.
The beat is really lackluster, and the lyrics are so 10yrs ago. I am not feeling this at all right here. I can't take it anymore! Yung Joc couldn't save this if he tried.
The hook is annoying, but I see Bohagon doin' his thing. I think he's the best when he's on a crunk Lil' Jon type beat, but I like how he's been trying new stuff here lately. Who am I........Bohagon!!!!!
Hahaha Dj Blaze said he can't take it anymore. I felt the same way after 30 seconds of this. I guess it could work on the dance floor but just listening would give me a headache.
On the contrary to everyone, I like the hook. Bohagon did nothing special to me, Yung Joc did his thing (as he almost always does) that monotone voice sounds good on this beat. Nothing besides the hook on this makes it one I'd want to replay. Ok.
Ha ha. I am with Blaze also on this one. This sounds like it should have been released years ago. Besides that this song just bad. Bohagon doesn't doesn't do it for me and it seems like Joc was thrown on to try and give the song some kind of promotional value. I also agree with DaBo$$. This @*#$! sounds like a poor man's version of Low.
I didn't mind this song, it isn't as bad as some of the other songs on this site. Bohagon is one of the most underrated rapper out their right now. Joc actually didnt come hard at all on this track, which kinda surprised me. oh well, not very good but not terrible by any means.
Damn yall so called "DJ's" kill me on this site, yall sum str8 up haterz especially you DJ Blaze, you must have very dim musical tastes. Yall must not like club music or must not be in the clubs, bedroom ass DJ's. This sh!t is killin the clubs and the song is catchy as hell, I admit it could've used a change-up, yeah, but this is a bonafide hit and Bohagon deserves that. This is a winning formula right now, and the ladies is on this one, and if u don't like it then hate on f@ck boy. Bohagon ain't trying to get lyrical here!
