In this week’s exclusive interview with Bobby V the singer told our own DJ Z one of his personal songwriting secrets: when crafting a potential single, he plays the work in progress for his 10-year-old nephew. Bobby V. clearly employed this strategy on Beep, which featured yet another of his kid-approved sound-effect hooks, and the official remix (previously leaked to the Internet in an unfinished form) finds him adding some big-name muscle to the catchy Rebirth lead single. Filling in for the originally-featured Yung Joc, Luda, Lil’ Kim, and Mrs. Officer collaborator Lil Wayne each contribute a new verse over Big Fruit‘s mellow beat. While a little racy for the grade-school set, this revamp breathes new life into the sultry original, and should have listeners flocking to their local record shops on February 10th, when The Rebirth hits stores.

Never really felt the original but I'm feeling this big-time! Instead of Yung Joc we get 2 talented MC's. Luda brings a dope verse while Wayne was solid too! I especially liked Lil' Kim on this one she brought some freakiness on this song that it lacked before. Luda straight killed this beat! Despite the non creative hook beep beep. This song growing on me. Its a classic to me!

Hot remix can't lie. Line up all star team is fresh. LUDA ALWAYS KILLS IT ON THESE R&B SONGS! Damn. I'm gonna throw this one a banger, but a class mentioned ^???....The song is called "Beep".

True the song title is kinda weird but once you get over that..hot production, great lyrics and feel good song! Im sure this song would have a higher rating if it would have a higher rating. I had second thoughts about rating it a 5 but for a r&b perspective this is pretty dope. 4.5 and i was feeling nice so thats da classic rating

Dang! Man this is hot fire. Str8 up everyone spat fire including Luda and Lil Wayne. Luda always has something up his sleeve aye and Lil Wayne always delivers hot fire man. And to complete it they added Lil Kim's freakiness. MAN THIS IS A BANGER FROM ME GEE CAUSE I'M A TREE LOLS.

Nice drums and racing highs every other 12 barz or so.. Why in the hell can Luda blow up eerbody track on feature but he can't blow his own ish up.
Lil Kim should not done a guest appearance cause she done lost her trademark delivery, it's M.I.A... And what's up with the autotuner Kim? How in the HEELLL can Weezy make Important and Martian rhyme? How, can you please explain this to me.. Props to Weezy cause he freestylin it but what's Lil Kim's excuse? |

this remix smashes the original! Luda killed it for sure. Lil Kim did the best i think, she added the sexiness for sure as well as good rhythm, wayne was ok, but he has done a lot better on verses for other ppl's songs tho. (his part was sort of boring and dragged on- he didnt have enough energy like everyone else)

I was really feelin the original and this remix is good looks too ... Wayne spreads his weezyness on first verse ... Kim picks it up right where she left from dat corny but hot 'Download' verse ... Am I the only one who thinks Bobby should sing a verse? He has great vocals.
Luda’s verse was sick (alarm mode, ha); I like how he lowered the voice tone to fit the song’s mood. Lil Kim’s been consistent lately (“Download”). Musically oriented, simple lyrics, sexy delivery without being necessarily degrading. Autotune was well handled! Lil Wayne’s sounds so much better without autotune; creative, entertaining and natural! Glad Yung Joc was left out of this. Almost flawless, I’ll round up! |

Fire. That's all I can say.
Bobby serves as a much better chorus-man than an actual singer if you asked me. Not to say he isn't talented, but hooks is where he really shines. The verses are all great; making this the 4th song I've heard Luda outshine Wayne on [I'm So Hood Remix, Last of a Dying Breed, Gettin' Some Remix, Throw It Up](saying something maybe?) |

What a great remix to a great song! Ludacris killed it on his verse! It's nice to hear that Lil' Kim is still around, but she would've been better off without the autotune. Lil' Wayne was ok, but im kinda getting over that thing he does with his voice that makes it all lispy. When he does that I can't even tell what he's saying. His verse would've been better to me if his voice was clearer. I've heard the original like a hundred times now, tho, and the beat is still hot! "Beep" might be one of my favorite songs of all time! The remix would've been better with more Bobby V, tho. Still a hot remix to freshen it up!
