OK, you may want to sit down for this one. On Alter Ego, the second half of Bobby V‘s new dual single (see also Words), the Blu Kolla crooner reveals a shocking secret: “I can’t lie, I like to have sex.” That’s right: though he’s a gentleman by day, when evening rolls around, the Atlanta native sometimes enjoys engaging in sexual intercourse with women. I’ll let you catch your breath. All good? Good. Backed by the heavily-syncopated synth-percussion boardwork of Jazze Pha, the singer admits that, when lust overtakes him, he transforms into a totally different person. 50 Cent can relate; on the front end the G-Unit head honcho confesses that not only does he have a freaky evil twin of his own, but his alter ego comes in the guise of a mild-mannered schoolteacher: “Little roleplay: you’re a schoolgirl, are you ready for the lesson I’ma teach you?” Needless to say, this joint stands in stark contrast to its more commitment-minded counterpart. Can Bobby V truly be all things to all people? We’ll find out next year, when the singer’s Fly on the Wall LP hits record store shelves and online retailers.

Bobby V's vocals are always solid, so the success of his singles depends largely on the production and feature emcee accompaniment. During 50's brief intro, which works for me, I found the Jazza Pha beat to bang. But when BV starts to sing, the beat tires quickly and gets annoying by the second or third listen. I'm just not 100% sold here. "Words" was much better, IMO.

the beat is great, his lyrics and the flow could be better in my opinion but other than that great song!

Song Is Nice, But Got to listening to it a few times to actually get into the song. Think song would have been better if they had put 50 verse in the middle or the end but oh well

princecharming was on point, sounds like a r kelly tune. songs nice tho styl, 50 intro is greezy.

Remember when you couldn't turn around without running into a Jazze Pha hit? What happened? Anyway, I would have toned down the drums on here, they're too harsh for such a smooth record, but I have to hand it to Bobby. The man definitely came with it vocally.
50's verse, on the other hand, just kind of sits there. All in all a decent track.

i'm feeling this... not bad. Bobby V has a nice voice and I'm glad this one is more grown than his usual work the cry's "teen". 50 was ok, but I think the faster beat didn't really compliment his slow tongue but he managed to pull it off.
