Bobby Creekwater - Somethin Out of Nothin
Artist: Bobby Creekwater
Producer: Willy Wil
Album: The B.C. Era Mixtape
Label: BGOV
You’ve gotta’ love modern technology. Only in today’s shrinking world could a rapper from Atlanta sign with a label from Detroit and collaborate with a producer from Denver. Bobby Creekwater, a blue chip prospect from Shady Records, enlists the help of Mile-High City producer Willy Wil on his new track, Somethin Out of Nothin. You may recall Creekwater from his appearance on the ’06 Eminem Presents: The Re-Up album. While he has still yet to put out a solo album, the 27-year old rapper has since fine-tuned his game on a handful of mixtapes and guest appearances. Something Out of Nothin finds him introspectively pondering the ins and outs of daily life. The track will appear on his upcoming mixtape, The B.C. Era Mixtape.

Man, this production is smooth. Willy Wil eh? I'll look out for some more things from him. I like tehis better than B.C's last track here on the Booth. The hook is really smooth and Bobby Creekwater's flow is decent. It's not super epic, but I'll throw it in rotation.

This mixtape is fire, people. BC has one of the most unique voices in the industry, and unlike some emcee's, he knows how to use it to his advantage. Solid mixtape effort. Better than material on most new studio projects.

Production is good but the overall song is boring to me...the beat is banging and he has skills, though.
Ps: I'm feeling the chorus |
