The work of Shady/Interscope emcee Bobby Creekwater is beginning to resemble the dark grittiness of the Shady Empire’s early days. For the new buzz single, Rainman, Creekwater has recruited Detroit producer D’Focis, whose sound will bring to mind the first few mixtape releases from successful Shady cliques D12 and G-Unit. Showcasing Creekwater’s talent for creative wordplay, Rainman should have fans checking for what’s next. The Atlanta native will drop The B.C. Era Mixtape this summer.
D'Focis's production is real nice and laid back. I'm loving it! That drum kit is nice! Bobby Creekwater's flow, delivery and wordplay is real nice. 4 stars.
I like this beat alot! its sounds alil outdated, but thats right up my ally. Bobbys voice kinda gets lost in the beat. The hook is cleaver. I dig this alot. I would like to hear the melody remixed by someone who can twist it and make it fuller. I think it has potential to be bigger than this. nice overall
B. Creek is getting CRAZY lyrical on this one. I love the 'mill a second' lines... Just wait until the new mixtape drops everyone; you're going to jump on this man's bandwagon sooner rather than later.
Yeah, I dig that “mill a second” part too Z, it’s that kind of rhyme that only works due to a smart delivery by the rapper. I always give Bobby Creek props for being solid lyrically and having a distinguishable style. Production is pretty cool, I like the mood it sets! Modest but well shaped! 3.5*
shady records is no joke. they could do some damage to the industry once every1 there gets their shit together (aka Marshall Mathers)
but bobby creek is legit
He def steps his game up on this one. 3.5 from me too. He surprised me. I'm getting lazy with comments today, so I might finish up later (with the other songs).
