Two of the music world’s best-kept secrets have teamed up for a mid-tempo acoustic-heavy club song. While rapper B.o.B. gets the lead credit on Slow, singing/songwriting duo Rock City‘s contribution is so large that it could easily be credited the other way around. The song finds B.o.B. once again (hey, practice makes perfect) spitting game to a Heavy Breather who’d like Grip Your Body, but Rock City starts Losing It and they are all forced to say, “See Ya Around.” With a guitar-heavy beat, Slow will definitely rock anywhere from Atlanta to the Virgin Islands and continue to showcase two acts who won’t be best kept secrets much longer.
This is hot. B.O.B. is on fire right now. He knows how to pick the hottest beats, as I don't think I've heard anything but production fire from his songs.
im lovin dis beat ryt here, B.o.B does his thing on dis track but i think hes tryin to do da whole andre3000 thang wid his voice at some points, i wouldnt bother if iwas him. his voice sounds better wen hes raping normally
I really like the swagger on this track. The beat is matched by the energy of B.o.B. on this track. This is ride music, club music, and everything in between. I am gonna bump this!
This B.o.B guy hasn't yet to impress me as of yet, he sounds like an underground rapper not yet ready to emerge into the rap game, but that is just me... I think this track is terrible, flow is dumb, beat is even dumber... He gon earn my respect when his music is worth listening to.
Songs like Slow require the artists to take full advantage of their vocal tracks and not rely so heavily on the production. In an era where ring tone sales make you top dollar, artists have forgotten that the words matter too. Solid effort.
Everything Rock City touches has that magic goin on (even on Beanie Sigel’s) and you already know they’re there. Don’t know B.o.B. very well but he impressed me with a kinda fast verse, sounds really cool and fresh ((better than on Grip your body). Beat is good but could be more appealing. Definitely feelin your words Z! 3*
i had to used to the beat at first..kind of sounded off when dude started spittin but i can digg the @*#$! now...yea def the beat is hot..secrets are not meant to stay secrets for long..this mc and this underrated group are gonna blow the games out the water...
not a fan of b.o.b. this song is annoying to me lyrically not on any level that i can respect sorry the beat is well produced tho like the flanger effect at the end
Big Tune. Rock City really just caught me by surprise and I'm from the islands. Just didn't expect that. Haven't let me down yet. Keep Reppin to the fullest fellas.
B.o.B. holds his own as well. I like the beat. It's definitely something I'll bang in the clubs.
Im sorry, but DJ Z what is this? This music sounds like one person yelling , a whack ass beach, and the repeating of words. I would hope to hear this song in the club for about 30 seconds of the song where he tells the girl to get down, down, down, down! But then agian I could just turn on my radio, and turn to any pop station and I can hear how shawty got low a hundred times!
Zay550, I appreciate the feedback, but I didn't make the music! Haha. Whether you feel different after listening to other work from both artists or not, I can say tell you with 100% confidence that B.o.B. and Rock City have plenty of talent!
maybe I should throw a double dimond party in the north pole, invite all the writers journalist even biters will tournament to see who can be me better than me but you say you dont like my style"
- Andre 3000 in 2008 be careful he dont take light of dis @*#$!..
