As a result of being an adventurous eater - I’m not afraid to try things like alligator tongue or snake meat - I’ve learned that some things just don’t mix (I’m looking at you mayo and chocolate). With that said, I’m just as much of a metalhead as I am a hip-hop fan, but I cringe at the thought of hearing some hip-hop artists attempt to fuse the two genres (sorry Weezy). But if the rap/rock vibe of B.o.B’s latest track Don’t Let Me Fall isn’t one of the greatest mixtures of two elements since the Reese’s peanut butter cup, I don’t what is. With an airy beat saturated with piano sequences and hard guitar riffs produced by Bobby Ray himself, the Atlanta rapper lights up the record with his usual high-energy delivery combined with a softer, more vulnerable twist. If B.o.B. isn’t on your radar by now…wait…he should already be, so I’m not even going to finish that sentence. Don’t Let Me Fall will be featured on B.o.B.’s debut album The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which drops April 27.

EVERYTHING about this track is crazy. The ?flow on here is rapid fire fast good, the hook is epic, the production is off the hook....wow B.o.B is on his way up.

B.o.B is one of the most versatile artists, not just rappers, but artists. The Adventures of Bobby Ray is actually looking like it could be as good as he says ("you wont know what just hit you" - B.o.B). This actually could be a classic album, especially after looking at the track list. Definitely will be copping this album. His flow is dope yet again, the hook is frickin amazing, and lyrically he always comes hard, with high energy as others have pointed out. He just can't go wrong.
I honestly was expecting a few months ago for his album to be average, but there is no way it will be that way. Gotta love this dude. |

I'm gonna say it right now.. B.o.B. is my favorite artist in the game. Period. He sings, he produces, he raps. Unbelievable talents. He's so unique and creative it's hard not to love what he brings to the table. This is just pure, creative music. Dope song. 4.5

A stirring production that is beautifully segmented and boasts an impressive array of sounds/instruments, all bundled neatly into the lush arrangement that suits the emotive, metaphorical lyrics. It’s easy to see why this might not be everyone’s bag. However, just as many will be drawn to those exact same things, and left impressed - like we have been. I can't wait to hear it in the context of the other joints on album.

Yeah, I mean, who's radar ISNT this guy on?! I love B.o.B's intelligent lyrics and wide range of comfort zones. I mean this guy can rap, sing AND play guitar effectively, sorry Weezy. This is another classic from him. He supplied a nice chorus by himself this time, but we all appreciated Bruno Mars on the former hit.;)

I am still bumping to his May 25th Mixtape, and my fav tracks are actually all the ones he sings and produces, funny that, this will be one of those albums that is gonna blow me away I wreckin' B.o.B just knows what he's doing, he's staying true to himself at the same time, getting his music out to the world.

Musically this is far more interesting than Nothin on You, but it may be just a little too complex to take of on radio like Nothin did. We'll see.
Either way, this is an amazing song from an amazing artist. Like Matthew said in the blurb, this is how you mix genres naturally without sounding gimmicky.

I dont love the hook, but the lyrics are tight as usual, the rock edge is not dragging him down. I respect his music, but his song does not have much radio appeal. I findthe song to be too slow on the hook. Anyways just my opinion. Im still pumped for April 27th

I been with B.o.B since his mixtape tracks in the underground, i wanted the best for him but i was scared that if he would have gotten that mainstream shine he woulda fell off.
