If you have a set of wheels and your commute is as long as mine every day, you would have to either be deaf or have a broken stereo not to notice that B.o.B.’s latest chart-topper Nothin’ On You is as omnipresent as Bedrock (or Telephone if you’re a Gaga fan). In other words, the Atlanta-based emcee rarely disappoints, and if you couldn’t get enough of his May 25th mixtape (which featured a T.I.-less version of this track), the high quality second edition of Bet I Bust shouldn’t surprise you. With some uptempo boardwork from Kutta and verses from T.I. and Playboy Tre that approach Twista speed and match Eminem power, Bust is going to be played, replayed, spun, and re-spun until fans know every word. Bobby Ray himself owns the track, though, and with an equally forceful delivery on his verse and hook, he makes his presence known. Check out Bet I Bust on B.o.B.’s upcoming album The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which is slated for an April 27 release.

I doubt this will live up to the success of "Nothin' On You"; it's no where near as radio-friendly and, aside from the T.I. feature, there's nothing particularly interesting it.
The track actually has a Tech N9ne feel to it. The "bet I bust" voice on the chorus sounds like a cheap rip-off of Krizz Kaliko. (Never thought I'd say that about a B.o.B. track) |

This is for all the DJs who LOVE B.o.B but cannot find room in their sets (for what reason, I don't know) for his monster hit single "Nothing On You."
The production is mad catchy, but this one gets a little annoying after a few listens.

Agree with everyone that this track will recieve no time on the airwaves, but I think this is tight trio. I agree with Phantastic as well in that it has a real Tech N9ne tempo to it.

Definitely not as good as some of his other work I've heard, but this isn't bad. Production was solid and B.o.B. brought his unique sound to the table and T.I. killed it. Rotation.

Both beat and lyrics are fine, and although generic, are charged with enough energy to rescue this song from mediocrity but hook puts it back on the side of below-average... 2.5
B.o.B can do a better Street-Single than this. This better not be on the album. That's all. |

This is definitely the street banger. People have to understand how the game work and the market. You drop the pop hit, the street singles and other joints. Somebody like B.O.B is one of the most versatile artists out, so he's going to lock down a lot of the musical markets. He's signed to GRAND HUSTLE, so you know he had to have a street cut with the homey T.I. on the album, and that will get the street cats and urban market on it. He's smart.

Just saw the video to this song...B.o.B. proves that his feet are planted well into Hip-Hop and T.I.'s feature secures the songs banger quality. With the CD on rotation Bet I Bust is one of my most liked on his album. The energy to this song is sick. Nice to hear T.I. come back into the game just the same way he left it.
