Boaz - Well Connected
Artist: Boaz
Producer: E Dan [of ID LABS]
Album: The Audiobiography
Label: Rostrum Records
If there’s one city DJBooth can be seen as helping break out onto the national stage, Pittsburgh is it. Though major-label signee Wiz Khalifa is Pitt’s most visible rapper, local artists such as S. Money and The Finest are also working tirelessly (and sending us plenty of features) to make sure the Steel City gets its proper place on the hip-hop map. Previously seen on Gettin’ Mine, Crazy World, and Steel City, fellow Pittsburghian Boaz realizes that the music business is, at its core, just that: a business. Fortunately, the emcee’s Well Connected, and can rest easy in the knowledge that all his bases are covered. Produced by E Dan [for ID LABS], Well Connected is the perfect record to soundtrack money-savvy listeners’ morning commutes. Will Boaz’ connections and business sense add up to musical success? Find out April 14, when his debut album, The Audiobiography (not to be confused with Novel‘s upcoming debut of the same name) hits record stores and online retailers

I'm really feelin this!! First time around I thought the "around the world" part in the hook seemed a bit off but now that I've heard it a few times, I like it. Nice track.

This is my kind of rap. I loved the production and his voice sounds great with it. His flow was good on the verses, but I thought the hook could have been a little more refined. Other than that it was tight!

Boaz still doesnt impress me. His lyrics are average and his flow is decent. He just always has these catchy synth beats that makes up for it but he will be getting attention if he makes solid music like this. This is still good I can listen to this every once in a while..the hook is pretty good too. In rotation

@XT13 - The "around the world" part is sounding better and better to me with each listen. I thought it sounded off at first too.

this is surprisingly cool i like the production its hot plays well to his voice, i think the synth is tempting to use auto tune but im glad he didn't im tired of that shit

Never heard of this dude. Anyway, whoever he is, he seems to be kinda skilled! I liked his flow! The production is banging, energetic and catchy! The only problem is that after a while the songs gets boring, but I'd dance to it in the club
