Blvd. Benny - Rock It Out (Remix) ft. Jadakiss & Fabolous
Artist: Blvd. Benny
Featuring: Jadakiss , Fabolous
Producer: Blvd Benny
Album: Que Sera, Sera
Label: 808 Music Group
As the newest representative of Latino hip-hop in New York City, Blvd Benny has already completed his debut album, Que Sera, Sera (Spanish for “what will be, will be”), and is waiting for a major label to come get it. One of the standout tracks on that album is Rock It Out; with a swagga-heavy flow and a bass-thumping beat (both by Benny), it would be the appropriate choice for single once he gets signed. Then again, given the industry’s taste for collabos, the actual single might be the remix with two other NYC MCs (both signed to Def Jam, no less): Yonkers’ Jadakiss and Benny’s fellow Brooklynite Fabolous each rock in in their own ways as well, bringing sharp lyricism and delivery (quite a unique combination these days) to enhance the original. Stay tuned to the DJBooth for updates on Blvd Benny’s label situation.

The beat is simple and average...Jadakiss did solid, Blvd Benny liked his fast flow and Fabolous was decent. The hok needs major improvement and the production needs some smoothing out. This is OK

The production is pretty fresh, and Jada is not bad on the introduction verse. I didn't really like the regular voice on the hook, but the screwed part was catchy. Blvd came off with that energy. Hot! Fab smashed them all!
"You did it to yourself like Plaxico!" LOL...hecksie drawes. This is a certified banger. |

I'm with MH! Fab surprised me with an unusual dynamic flow! When he spits “the saxes blow”, it’s the BEST part on the song as far as production goes, which was VERY GOOD, welll carried by the the guitar throughout!
Blvd was very good with the fast flow, he used it in a smart (not too much of the same!), entertaining way, nice work splitting the words and I liked how changeable his flow was! |

This a nice track, interesting vocals and flows. Question is how does he do by himself. I give this 4.

I like this joint alot Benny reminds me a bit of Big Pun but in his own unique way. Jadakiss rocks it and Fab had some good lines.

I prefer the production than their flows...I like the background music and the beat but they are a lil annoying, above all in the hook. In a club I would dance to it but I wouldn't put it in my mp3 player
