If you are unfamiliar with Blood Type, allow me to introduce two young men on a mission to become the forerunners of the creative commercial hip hop movement. With the release of their new song, I Have Dreams, featuring Big K.R.I.T, could they be moving one step closer to their goal? With former guest rapper XV taking on the production role, combining an angelic sample with a sick drum kit, Dreams is a soundtrack for every dreamer that works late nights and wakes up early in the morning, only to do it all over again. Blood Type member Chief uses the first verse to drop philosophical dimes such as “If you never climb there are goals you’ll never reach, this life is a mountain, I’ll meet you at the peak,” thoughts his partner in rhyme Stepson echoes in the second. Big K.R.I.T flexes on the backend, reminiscing about the days when he had nothing. Blood Type are two-for-two at the Booth. I am impressed with their production and guest emcee selections (in this case favorites of ours) and the overall feel of their music. We are excited about hosting their forthcoming project for free release.

Headphone music. I could listen to this stuff all day. What do you get when you put together two talented emcees, Big K.R.I.T. and XV behind the boards? The answer is one hell of a track. Keep em coming.

lol @ ken...sounds like straight up hate
loved this record. beat was tight, KRIT held it down, and those blood type guys do a great job..listened to it multiple times to see if i was missing something, but naw im right |

This one couldn't have been more appropriate coming just after MLK Day.
First, props to XV on the beat - I don't know if I've heard anything quite this lush and soulful from him before. And thankfully both Blood Type and Krizza do it justice with understated but engaging rhymes. Word.

i took a listen to this track because of Big KRIT appearance. i love the beat however i could have just skipped blood type and went straight to Big KRIT's verse. the track was in my opinion boring in the beginning and then become okay after KRIT's verse. just okay in my opinion.

i only listened to this for krit as well....but im glad i did!!! this is the kind of music im trying to hear. never heard of no blood type but i head of them now...i will be checking for 2 weeks notice
