Though Boom Boom Pow packed plenty of body-moving power from the get-go, the Black Eyed Peas’ club-friendly comeback single is back in an even club-friendlier form.  This newly-released remix, precision-crafted for maximum danceability, should appeal to clubgoers of just about any stripe.  Whether you’re a fan of uptempo, techno-influenced beats or you prefer something a little more laid-back, will.i.am has you covered—here, he trades in the original’s hypnotic, largely unchanging groove for a beat that ricochets between slow-grinding verses and a propulsive, double-time chorus.  Of course, it would hardly be a remix without a big name guest feature—in addition to Fergie, apl.de.ap, and Taboo‘s high-tech lyrical stylings, the record gets a dash of harder-edged pop appeal by way of a paper-stacking, trunk-banging opening verse by 50 Cent.  If this revamp leaves you unable to sit still, stay tuned for plenty more high-energy jams on The E.N.D., set to drop June 9th.

Like this one a lot more than original. The original is a little too out-there for me and is more of a preview of what hip hop can sound like in the year 3008.

50 was forgettable here but the main highlight was the tweaked production and mixing of the track. Solid club banger.

I like this track a lot, and I didn't really feel the original. Like the blurb says, this beat go hard so it converts those street music heads. I also don't really enjoy 50 cent most of the time, but he's a great fit on this grimy beat. Tight track.

To be honest, after the song was over I had completely forgotten about 50's verse. When I looked at the title again and saw "ft. 50 Cent" I was trying to remember his verse. It was that forgettable. The remixed beat was tight but overall, I didn't think this was too much of an upgrade from the original.

The original has more energy with the fast paced beat but I like the change with this one. 50 sounds good on this beat in rotation

Wow. I haven't heard 50 sound this good on anything since GRoDT; he flowed GREAT. Hopefully we can get something like this on "Before I Self Destruct"; maybe it would actually make up for the hour I wasted listening to Curtis. BEP does great as well.

this is tight. 50s verse had a sick flow, i don't know what all you people complaining about how forgettable it was are talking about. it was short and kind of an intro and pretty good in my opinion.

I hated the original beat, it was some simpleminded funk. But this... damn!!! It goes like BOOM! So dynamic! The BEP all rip it: great flow, use of autotune, punchlines, energy! Love it!
Finally something enjoyable from 50...

Been waiting for 50 to come back strong, disappeared for a bit after Rick Ross stuff. Glad he hopped on a track thats guaranteed to be played in all kinds of clubs. I actually liked the original better. Liked the Fergie beat change, definitly something making people go crazy in the club. But Fergies voice was a lil slow on it. Only a 3 to me, original was a definite 4.

@DJ Z - Yeah, I gotta say he killed his part on this. But he is far surpassed by the remix itself, with the production being the second best production I have heard this year, the first best being She Came Along by Sharam (if you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend doing so. Anyways, yeah, 50 wasn't bad on this, but by far not the shining star. B.E.P. are back, baby!

I've already heard this remix on the radio...very strange I know! I'm not crazy for this song, but it has rather cool parts and it's perfect for clubs. It's in rotation but it'll grow on me ;)

BANGER! 50 Cent's flow was on fire, kinda like how he was on Ayo Technology (which made that song a hit). I liked the production switch which made it more listenable to hip hop heads and the beat changes so it doesn't get repetitive. Nice song here.

The original was much better. I don't really like these kind of songs but they are made for the club. For that purpose, this is a good song. 50 flows with the beat but his lyrics are lacking as usual.
