No need for any fancy intros here, I’ll just tell you directly: the Black Eyed Peas are back! Considering all the major solo moves all four members have been making in the last few years, this is a perfect time for BEP to rejoin forces, forming a Voltron-esque musical juggernaut. Boom Boom Pow, the lead single off forthcoming fifth LP, The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies), has all the pop appeal of the group’s recent discography; will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and Fergie show they haven’t lost it with their funky verses, but Will’s own bass-thumping beat is what will blast Boom Boom Pow to the top of the worldwide charts, likely earning it a place among the top 10 records of ‘09. The E.N.D. is currently set to drop June 9, but don’t be surprised if that date ends up being pushed ahead (yes, I mean ahead).

This is something fresh...will definitly sound better in the club rather than computer speakers. Sounds like something straight out of the euro clubs! Its good to see somebody trying something different with the auto-tune to make it sound fresher...I have always liked the Peas diversity. I dunno how well this will go at radio, but it definitly makes me anticipate their album... No denying the hit potential here!

Glad to have them back; I've missed this sound. Now we just need Lil' Jon back on bass and Ying Yang Twins back in form and it's like 2003 all over again. (Tell me no one else here would love to hear another "Salt Shaker" esque jam, haha) Anyways, this is a great track; idk how fast it'll go up the charts (not as much pop-appeal of older hits) but its a sure hit in my eyes.

This production is hott, club ready for sure, but I cant stand that droning sound in the background. It would have been much better if that was replaced wit a different type of treble.
Overall, though, this song was too boring. I dont think its catchy enough to catch on. I liked when Fergie rapped on here the best. When she sang it just sounded off, and the others were just average on here. |

for the past few months i've been wonderin if/when BEP would release some new music.
cb126405: guilty pleasure fo sho. Stuff you know most girls in the world will get down to. In my book that's what matters. This song is aight, it doesn't really get interesting till half-way through. Shoulda started early with the techno stuff. |

Bangin beat, like it more than most Black Eyed Peas song. I feel like since they all went solo they all are stronger, and when they come together you get 4 more experienced great artists on a track. Stuck in my head already. Banger.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't disapointed by this. I'm a big BEP fan and when I heard they were gonna be back this year, I was super hyped... This is not what I had in mind but Ok, I'm sure there will be more and hopefully tracks to come
