This past fall, rapper Bizzy Bone dropped by the DJ Booth for an exclusive interview. During the twenty-minute conversation, the Ohio native seemed spiritually at ease, thanking and praising his religious savior, Allah, multiple times. Fast forward six months – this Tuesday, Bizzy will finally release his new solo album, A Song For You. On the album’s lead track, I’m The One, the Bone Thugs alum is joined by punk rocker Joel Madden of Good Charlotte for a subliminally devout banger (I dare you to find that description anywhere else on the web). Over a production bass line similar to The Blackout Movement (MIMS‘ This Is Why I’m Hot), Bizzy spits his usual warp-speed rhymes on either side of Madden’s winning chorus. So, is this the one?
it a change of pace for bizzy but i kinda like it....................what can i say last song of the night and the booth has once again delivered another solid showing
WOW. I didn't expect this from Bizzy. First, the beat is hitting on all cylinders. Secondly, what a collabo. I had to listen to this track 2 times before I gave a rating--it's good! A 3.5!!!
Don’t be biased by the odd collabo people! This is HOT; I listen to a lot of rock genres and Joel Madden’s voice is nothing strange to me, he sure brought emotion to the chorus. Bizzy’s not one of my favorites, his voice sometimes gets me on my nerves, but this is one where he sounds good. The beat is hot too, although it reminds a lot “this is why I’m hot”, the rock feel was a good shift!

the good charlotte dude made a track with j-kwon that was pretty hot too, so i kinda saw this comin again from him...bizzy bone wow good track nice surprise today
Well the beat is cool but I don't like him...he's eating his words!! The chorus is decent...it's ok to me, I used to love A Song For You, the only thing I didn't like in that was him
I just think there's too much going on at once...it all sounds jumbled together and Bizzy spits way to fast to even try to understand what hes saying...
