Frankly, there are more than a couple people who doubt D12 alumnus Bizarre’s ability to make seriously engaging music after years of outlandish rhyme behavior (myself included), but his new single Believer might be exactly what the doubters need to, yes, believe in the man abilities. Set against a softly humming beat by the Honorable C.N.O.T.E. and laced with a soft but strongly crooned hook by Nate Walka, Believer is a look inside Bizarre’s more personal side as he touches on everything from the passing of close friends to the economic famine currently starving his hometown of Detroit, an emotionally honest admission that Tech N9ne echoes in his deeply personal guest verse. Never thought you’d hear Bizarre drop a dope Hurricane Katrina reference? Me neither; and yet here we are. Believer is the first single off Bizarre’s upcoming album Friday Night at St. Andrews, which fans can hear more of when the album’s second single Rap’s Finest premieres on Shade 45 Sirius radio Friday at 4:30 pm EST. Come on Bizarre, make me a believer.

There are songs I come across every day where I don't expect to like them but in the end I come away truly impressed. This new Bizarre single is the best example of that type of song. Everything worked for me. The production is dope, the guest verse from Tech was an excellent choice, and even the hook singing of Nate Walka left me impressed.

No, Bizarre isn't an amazing Top 5 rapper. But, on this song, he was terrific.

Bizarre really impressed me here. He seems to be taking his music a lil more serious these days. Tech n9ne came with his usually fire and took this track up a notch. The hook isn't great, but it's not bad either. This is good, real music.

This isn't the type of song that I was expecting, but it worked. I grew to like Bizarre's slower flow on this song and the production was a great compliment to the vocals. Tech killed it. 3.5, rounding up though.

I just can't dig Bizarre on this song. He raps way too slow. He took a Jadakiss line (Jada says "Katrina, just without the water" in Searchin'), but he's got some good lines. Tech N9ne kills it, not a shock. I'm feeling this hook. 3.5, but since this will probably go on the ipod, i'll round up

I'm touched. This is quite an unusual song for the D12 member who chose "Bizarre" as both his style and his personal moniker. Although Bizarre's verses are a bit forgettable, he comes correct with this truly fascinating choice of beat. I don't need to discuss Tech's verses; he already killed me with his 2008 double disc offering.

In other words, this song's definitely going into the Wammy Radio March podcast.

You can hear the emotion and concentration in Bizzare's voice, lovin' it, the hook is insanity, and Tech is one of my alltime favz, so I knew before he rapped he would kill it (well I assumed) Amazin'

What can I say? The man's not exactly Nas, but I played this four or five times in a row and was still coming back for more. Not only did Bizarre take it to the next level, but this hook is one of the best hooks we've had in the Booth in the minute. I even loves those "o o ooo o"s. You know what I'm talking about. Add in a verse from Tech and you've got one of my top tracks of the day.

A melodic beat paired up with rhymes and hook that are simple, and yet are totally effective. Tech N9ne’s lyrics are noticeably strong, weaving in deeply personal words deftly and always effectively enhancing the final output.

From the eastern part (Detroit) to as west as it goes (Kansas City), this makes me proud to be from my region. Somebody tell me why more Wisconsinites don't sound like that? (Complete package)

Three words (you can guess what they are, but I'll give you a hint by paraphrase): My region, rise! (guess what that means)

The chorus is memorable and both Bizarre & Tech N9ne contribute stronger efforts than I expected. This is good, but not quite up to par with what I consider a Banger.

very nice production, I couldn't get used to Bizarre's rhyme pattern though, I dont know, maybe it should have been a bit faster for my taste, Tech N9ne on the other hand was dope as usual with his familiar flow and lyricism! Looking for the next single to drop. And it's good to see Bizzare's music seem less........bizzare, no pun intended

Well, Tech killed it for sure, but Bizarre had some deep, emotional verses. Don't know Nate Walka, but his contribution was nice. Production fit the theme of the song perfectly. Overall I'll give it a 3.5/5 but I'll round up.

Regardless of Bizarre's slow flow...the overall delivery from him n Tech N9ne, not to mention the beat itself, makes this a good song.

Man the only reason im giving this song 4stars is because tech n9ne killed that last verse, and because the hook was sick and the beat was phat.
