Try and follow along if you can… In 2002, R. Kelly and Jay-Z hooked up for the collaborative project Best of Both Worlds. The following year, R. Kelly and Birdman jumped into the studio to record a Best of Both Worlds 2, but due to label politics (among other issues) the project never saw daylight. Then in 2004, Kels and Hova reunited for Unfinished Business, a collection of new and unreleased material. Now, roughly four years later, Birdman is be joined by Rick Ross, and together they will yield both a motion picture and duet album entitled The H (Best of Both Offices). Leading off the project, which is tentatively slated for a winter release, is the T-Pain and Glasses Malone assisted single, Sun Come Up.
I'm feelin Ross on this, Birdman doesn't really stand out to me though.. Birdman and Ross on a duet album? Wowwww, Birdman has gotten desperate i guess, LOL!
The beat to this song can get engraved in your head. I didn't have high expectations for this song and I also thought Malone would be a horrible asset, but he made the song like-able for me.
"The H" sounds like it would go to an h-town calabo i think the Best of Both Offices would have been good. The track is straight even though my head is throbbing from hearing another t-pain chorus..everything was on point.
This chorus is fire. I gotta give T-Pain props. The rest of it is smooth, this is a for sure Miami type joint. Ross flows pretty well on here, but I think Baby shines better in my opinion. Its about time the Birdman got his limelight, he's been shunned away from Weezy lately with barely any cameo's or guest features, this is what he and Cash Money needed. I will definetely put this into a heavy rotation, but I'm not expecting too much from this H album.
i like this one. The sample is fire reminds me of one of my favorite BONE thug tracks "Ain't Nothin Changed". Ross carrys the baton well on this one. Glasses has yet to impress me. Pain holds the hook down well and the Birdman does him on the track.
I've never been a fan of Baby as a solo artist. I will say I thought he was pretty tyte back in the day with the Cash Money Millionaires (he's the reason I wanted a grill WAY BEFORE NELLY). This production is real good. Big D is really ill. I liked Rick Ross and G.Malone. T.Pain is climbing my favorite artists' list lately. Birdman wasn't bad on this one though. This collab album might turn out being hot. I'm going to look forward to more material.
Meeennn, this song is a hit, gotta give props to T-Pian for the chorus, T-Pain makes the song really Hot. i have recently vieuw a interview he did with dj whoo kid, they say to him man every song he on is a f... hit. How he do that.Unvbelievbe
lovin this song...gotta give props to "da boss" cause lately he's been doing it big....glasses had a nice verse and T-pain is classic as usual...But i have nothign good to say about Birdamn, i have no idea why dude thinks he's a rapper...stick to the business side or to your video cameos but PLEASE stop trying to rap...he himself took the song from 5 stars to 4
Are you kiddin me..the only reason i like this is cuz of pain, and g malone..
Rick Ross is the most overated rapper EVER...and birdmanis nothin special on this either..
ross..u know wat we say..?
"ER ER ER EVERY DAY IM CUFFIN EM CUFFIN EM" CUFFIN EM CUFFIN EM" lmao
I really like the production on this track! The beat sounds crisp and clear with a very smooth vibe to it. Rick Ross PERFECTLY SETS this joint off! I don't think Birdman is a bonafide rapper, but He has a nice "flow" if you will! He just raps it how he sees it! Nothing sugar coated, just straight to the point, so I can't hate him for his lyrics! T-Pain did his thing on the chorus! This is Certainly a DJ BLAZE BANGER!
I guess I'm one of the few here but I personally don't like this song very much. Chorus is good, that's true, but the verses are nothing special. This collaboration idea seems terrible to me altogether. Rick Ross is an average MC, and Birdman has been garbage for years now. Not looking forward to the album at all.
it be ok but nothin speacial i am surprised taht ppl would think lil wayne would be in it. it is not like he has to be in everything. i dont think he could have even made it better.
I was into this until Birdman showed up and completely ruined it for me. I mean he had a messed up flow. It didn't sound good to me. It would be a banger. Birdman drops it to barely in rotation.
I'm feeling this beat atm. It's one of those joints I can bump either on the mixtapes or whilst I'm driving & no matter how I choose to listen to it, it just comes off so damn smooth. I'm a big advocate of crisp, smooth instrumentals & in this instance, it takes me back to that '94-'96 sound when the likes of Warren G, Bone Thugs & Nate Dogg were in their prime. Great music from great artists & though these artists featured might not be great right now, their sound continues to grow & that's great news for people who love listening to & who appreciate GOOD music. Take care & God Bless. Peace.
Bigg D totally rocked the production. Perfect jam for the summer, so its a pity their droppin this so late, if it starts getting play in September they may be alright, but I have a feeling it will be later before we hear it on the radio. Rick Ross does alright on this, Birdman does his usual stuntin swag, lyrically he isn't that great, but we all know that, so for him, this isn't bad. Pain comes in with a fitting hook, nice cut here.
