Baby aka Birdman - Money To Blow
Artist: Baby aka Birdman
Producer: Drumma Boy
Album: Pricele$$
Label: Cash Money Records
Having captured the listening public’s attention with successful lead single Always Strapped, Cash Money head honcho Birdman is looking to build further anticipation for his forthcoming Priceless LP with the release of another potential hit. Originally a Drake solo record, Drumma Boy-produced second single Money to Blow boasts new verses from Birdman and Lil Wayne in addition to the T-Dot phenom’s original bars. Packed with high-rolling braggadocio, this cut has all the makings of a radio smash. Wayne’s closing lines (”And we gon be alright if we put Drake on every hook.”) may prove prophetic—Young Money would be crazy not to take full advantage of a Pricele$$ talent like Drizzy’s.

Some people will rip Birdman for scooping up a Drake record and making it his own single. Interesting how not many of our members did this with Trey Songz last week, after we featured his own version of the Drake collabo, Successful.
Not a personal favorite, but this could get Birdman another chart placement... which is clearly the goal here. |

With a lineup like this and Drumma Boy handling the production, you already know its going to be dope. Drake's verse is hot and you cant go wrong with a Drizzy hook nowadays. Birdman is average like usual but his laid-back flow works for this beat and Weezy is solid. Drake is the main highlight here and with that signature Cash Money sound we've been hearing recently, this is a hit!

This is still a hot record because I loved the original record with just Drake and can't act like it's not just as good now. Birdman actually wasn't AS bad as usual. His lyrics were very simplistic, but at least it wasn't complete "JOKES" like most of his music. Lil Wayne was a'ight. He said one of the truest lines in this song though. He and Young Money already know Drake is their cash cow right now.
"And we gon be alright if we put Drake on every hook". |

I was wondering when the booth were gonna post this song. This is a good song i heard it awhile back, the snippet version. When Drake starts to sing the hook there's something missing there, Drumma Boy should have added some other beat in the hook too.
But it's a solid track, finally the full version is here. |

Yeah, this is sick. Dug the original and this was sick too. Drake came hard as usual and he smashed the hook. Birdman was Birdman - nothing great (he can't make a hit solo track to save his life), but Lil' Wayne was a great fit here and DB's production was tight.

I used to think Drake was overhyped, but his versatility (ability to sing and rap well) is madd impressive.
Btw, Birdman needs to retire from rapping. He was never good. |

Well, i think everyone's rating above me is biased because, i just do not like this song. and the line up only hypes this song, not makes it better.
drake has came so much harder on all his pre-cash money songs where his hype was most definitely deserved. lil wayne has been dubbed "best rapper alive" and besides a couple songs that showed his skill. throw birdman in there who can just throw his name on anything with weezy spits and add a mediocre verse, and you still cant create a hit. sorry but im giving this 1 star. |

I really wish Birdman would drop a hit without Wayne or (now) Drake or (just about) any artist who is hot at the moment. I really think he has it in him, however this was just another rotation type of record that's placed right in the middle of your playlist. Nothing special about this here, but worthy enough to talk about.

I have no problem with Birdman & Wayne hijacking Drake's track to be honest.
The production is tight from Drumma Boy, Drake & Weezy were good while Birdman was good enough to keep me listening. Likely to get some spins |

I think the main difference between Trey Songz and Birdman is the fact that one of them can be an accomplished artist without features. As for this track, Drake (and..partially Wayne) work Drumma Boy's beat well.

First off, I think Drumma did a fantastic job on the beat. Second off, This is a radio ready summer hit if it would have been pushed when it was originally realest early this year. We all know Birdman is not the greatest rapper in the world, however he may have helped raise the man who is. You be the judge, either way, this IS Drake's song, and he was the standout here.

Birdman was well..... Birdman. Wayne did the track justice and Drake did his thang on his VERSE, unlike the new Jay-Z track (Man am i dissapointed LOL). Another hit for Birman thanks to his features.

Production is good, Drake killed this! Birdman was not good, but he wasn't horrible either. Lil Wayne was good. The radio is gonna eat this up. Wayne definitely had a point when he said "And we gon be alright if we put Drake on every hook". With all the Drake hype goin on right now, signing him to Young Money was just the way to make the record label more successful.

Beat is bangin and Drizzy + Weezy did their thang. To quote Blaze 31, "Birdman was well..... Birdman". 3.5 but rounding up since Weezy's verse actually made sense.

This song is pretty but after a while it bores me. I love the production but I don't think they all sound particularly good, above all in the verses. Weezy was boring and so was drake. I'm with that1kid, I've heard better, although I don't think this song is garbage!

Song is unequivocally dope. Production is fire and love drake on hooks and his verse was dope. Wayne was so sub-par on this in my opinion.
Yeah drake and cash money are raking in the dough right now. But so what? They make good music. Wayne and Drake are 2 very potent lyrical partners. They should have money to blow for a long, long time. |

Why is everyone jacking Drake's sh*t??
Drake should of released this and Successful as singles and done a couple more verses on this and released it himself!! Drake could kill this all by himself like he did on the original!!!! 3 stars for Drake!!!! |
