Featured this past February, BIGREC‘s Booth debut found the Southern spitter teaming up with Booth faves Playboy Tre and Tom P. to demonstrate just how many syllables he could cram into 16 braggadocious bars. While his double-time flows were dazzling, to be sure, that record’s hypercharged rhymesmith is just one facet of the Oklahoma City-bred New Orleans repper’s musical persona; on newly-leaked mixtape cut mistaBIGstuff (a Booth-exclusive world premiere!), REC introduces us to a more laid-back—but no less attention-grabbing—side of his swag. Spitzwell mans the boards, borrowing a slow-rolling horn-organ groove from N.O. soul songstress Jean Knight’s classic record of the same name, and REC comes with outsized rhymes to match, touting his prodigious skills as well as giving listeners a little biographical detail. BIGREC dominates the record. And I am not talking about overshadowing the production or any guest feature (and there are none of this song). I am talking about making his presence felt from beginning to end with a powerful vocal and memorable performance. Here is is aided by a super duper catchy sample.

Wow, Big Rec absolutely came hard on this track, ever since 'Sumthin2Say' I was like I want to hear more of this guy (Being a fan of Tom P) and this proves to me this guy has alot more ins tore. That production just is bliss!

Awesome song. I absolutely love the spin on Mr. Bigstuff, that beat is just too funky and has so much soul. BIGREC kills it too. His flow and voice sound really cool with the production. It also sounds like he had alot of fun recording this track too. Haven't heard of him before, but I am already sold.

First of all - who the f**k did that track? Second of all - THIS song is dope! Always been a fan of Rec, but this is different than his normal material and it's quite refreshing. This sample could've easily been cheesy, but Rec came corREC over it. #RHHIB.

This is one classy offering from the almighty Bigreczilla. I dig the track , its quite intriguing, but then Big Rec just kills it with the delivery. It really has a unique flavor and rec really adds a unique perspective to the melting pot. I look forward to hearing the rest of the project.
