This past Sunday, March 9, marked the eleventh anniversary of the Notorious B.I.G.‘s tragic shooting death in 1997. In honor of the fallen rap legend, NYC rapper/producer “Hav Boy” Monte has decided to organize an annual rap tribute (the first not organized by Diddy or Bad Boy Records) for Biggie, bringing in a different crew of artists each year to pay their respects over a new Hav Boy beat. The first tribute in this new series is Can I Speak To Biggie, which features an intro by 50 Cent, followed by singers Bobby Valentino and Chris Notez lending their vocals to a truly hypnotic hook. Expressing how the lost legend’s lyrics have influenced their own, Maino, Chingy, Hav Boy and Bizzy Bone all jump on the mic for a verse as well. We’ll always love Big Poppa. RIP Chris Wallace (May 21, 1972-March 9, 1997).
This beat is tight. Tupac will always be the BEST, but still RIP to B.I.G. He was great but he only came out with two albums and it is a shame that we weren't able to see his full potential. The chorus is good here. Its a good all-around tribute track!
The least I could do was to bump "Ready To Die" and "Life After Death" all afternoon. Biggie Smalls had soooo much more in him and it was a shame that he left so soon. His flow was something no one had ever heard before. He was able to use classy, melodic word play and perfect imagery to always speak the truth about the streets. This is a great tribute record filled with some of today's most respected artists. RIP Mr. Wallace. Your life will live on through your music forever!
This song is better than I expected after seeing the artists that made the song. I'm sure there will be better tracks off of this album. R.I.P. to Biggie, but I can't give it a 5 because I'll never listen to this song again. <br>

50 Cent should not get credit for being featured on this song, I'm not sure why they even put that part on here!
i'm not one to give 5 stars just because it's a tribute. This track is average. the production is really lackin and doesn't hold the interest while rappers like Chingy(??) extend the boredum It was hard waitin around for Bizzy, and then to be a weak verse too?? redo!
yo i heard this track a couple days ago...and i think its aiight...coulda had a better roster on tha track...cuz i dont think bizzy bone really cut it...and jea tha chorus wuz pretty good...but all in all...its an okay track...RIP Biggie Smallz...~
yo this is on fire straight classic no questions asked, sorry to say this but if u dont give it at least a 4 somethings wrong with u(seriously u should get the problem sorted cus it aint right) fire from begining to end, wht else can u ask for from all these artists, biggie u always gonna be a legend IN MY OPINION I NEVER LIKED TUPAC AND I THINK THAT BIGGIE IS THE REAL STUFF.
I credit HB Monte for coming up with a dynamite project; I look forward to future tribute projects in the years to come. But, I will disagree with some of the above comments and say that Chingy -- who would seem out of place on this single -- sounds GREAT. Somebody tell him that is how he should always spit!
This won't get plays in the clubs, on tv, or even on the radio but it's a very nice tribute and a deep song to one of the greatest rappers of all time.
