Big Sid - Born On The Block
Artist: Big Sid
Featuring: Killer Mike , Big K.R.I.T
Producer: Yung Chill
Album: Failure's Not an Option
Label: Playaz Choice Ent.
Why does Big Sid walk, talk and act the way he does? As far as the Lone Star State emcee (and event promoter) is concerned, it can all be traced back to his formative years in the streets. On mixtape lead single Born on the Block (the artist’s first Booth feature), a trunk-banging instrumental by Yung Chill sets the mood as Sid, Big K.R.I.T. and Killer Mike spit about the debt they owe to their respective ‘hoods. For more, check out the headliner’s Failure Is Not an Option mixtape when it arrives on the ‘net this fall.

Wasn't feelin the production at first but everyone just flowed so nice around it, it had me banging my head by the end of the song. I've never head of Big Sid but my first impression is a good one - Mike Bigga and K.R.I.T killed it as always.

DANGER: If you are going to feat. Killer Mike and Big K.R.I.T you better be able to hold your own - unfortunately Sid gets lyrically murdered here. Production is played but I can't help but like it.

"Low get Dre on the phone quick. Tell him Em just killed me on my own shit" Hahaha, Sun Bear's absolutely right.
Killer Mike was so nice I'm about to buy his album (no joke). And Big KRIT continues to be great. Sorry Big Sid. |
