No question, Big Sean is Finally Famous. After being on my (and Hip Hop’s) radar for over two years now (since the release of 2009’s UKNOWBIGSEAN) to being a couple weeks away from his Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music debut, the journey to being a rap star finally seems within arm’s reach for the 23-year old Detroit-raised emcee. Always known as a braggadocios and cocky rapper, Sean has seemed to turn a lot of heads lately with some more personal material. In an attempt to keep the gears moving, the album’s next single, So Much More is seeing the light of day (it will be released digitally on June 14). Produced by No I.D., the very soulful, autobiographical record is something reminiscent of material heard on the debut of Sean’s mentor, Kanye’s College Dropout. After four minutes of his signature sound, Big Sean drops a little humility into the record and gives you a different perspective on the potholes and pit stops on his road to success. Finally Famous The Album (finally) drops June 28….boiiii!

This REALLY does remind me of some old school Kanye material. I am thrilled for Sean, and proud of him at the same time. This isn't that "here today, gone tomorrow" bullsh*t labels are making their artists release. This is substance. This is music.

With Cudi going crazy, Cons leaving, Common an actor/rapper (and not the other way around), and Pusha only dealing with mixtapes, Big Sean is Ye's only competition on GOOD music

he definitely snapped on this...definitely had some lines that i thought made the song that much better
definitely one of my favorite big sean songs so 4.5 imma round down tho, doenst feel like a classic |

I totally agree with DJ Z on this one. This is the best song I've heard from all of his releases. If he dropped all of his earlier songs and release more like this it would be a classic.

I do like the singing/rapping, incredibly smooth, very Very well done. I can't help but wish that this song was a bit lower pitch or at least thrown in a couple kicks here and there so my subs don't fall asleep

He's too funny on this song. He looks like Fabolous's young brother. He's funny just like him. I never got a chance to listen to Big Sean til now. I'ma buy his album when it drops. I believe he's Finally Famous like he's saying. I like his rapping on this. I give it a 5 for everything about this song.

Anyways, Big Sean murked this track, this one of my favorites from his album. The production is that classic GOOD Music sound and Big Sean's flow is just incredible on this joint, its inspiring and dope. |
