It’s hard to tell Big Sean‘s story without heavy usage of the word “finally.” It was two years after their first meeting in ‘05 before Kanye finally signed the Motown native, three more before he got the gears turning for a studio album, and it wasn’t till just recently that the set finally had a solid drop date. Now that everything’s (finally) headed in the right direction, though, Sean’s feeling on top of the world and, on new street single I Do It, his relief is palpable. Windy City legends No I.D. and The Legendary Traxster do their thing on the production tip, layering synth blurts and whooshes over syncopated snares as the rapper drops verses packed with triumphant braggadocio. Though he contends he was “...the man when [he] started,” he’s clearly enjoying his hour in the spotlight. And you’d better believe he’s gonna make the most of it: “I need a crib, a big estate / I need a boat, but that need a lake…” Finally Famous: The Album finally hits stores on June 21. Will it sell well enough to buy Sean the mansion, the yacht, and the water to sail it on? That, my friends, is for you to decide.

I can only hope that Sean's debut album boasts more production from the dynamic duo of Traxster and No I.D. His rhymes border on the mundane after verse two, but the beat makes the listen worthwhile.

Witty punchlines, maybe too witty. The production was on point and Big Sean did his thing but I felt at times like I was listening to Lil Wayne. 2.5

I'm actually a fan of Big Sean. Hes not that great of a rapper, and his flow is generic, but he still makes some pretty good music.

Big Sean's delivery is humorous and really witty at the same time, and that's his style. It works really well, and the beat is CRAZY. I'm ready for that album to drop!

I really like Big Sean. He has had some better songs, but this song has a great beat and he got some sick lines in here. I can't wait for his debut album. 3.5/5 but since i like Big Sean imma bump it to 4/5 on here

Kinda feeling this track. Sean's flow is definitely not the greatest, but he makes it work. I think its his clever lines that make up for his flow. The beat, like the rest of the song, is average, but for some reason I really like this song.

Sean is a student of the game. He will only get better. If you ever listen to his other work you will notice references to songs that were out before he was out of his diapers. He is raw talent and kicks that hip hop ish.

I like it! I was skeptical when it first came on, but shout out to Big Sean. I love the production and the attitude it give him. This is more of a hip-hop song then "My Last". His swagger is on full tilt on this one. But Sean always exuberates swag, but a little more than normal on this one.

On first listen I thought it was pretty average. After the second I realized it's a banger. I am glad for Big Sean finally getting the hype and album release date. I'm considering buying it.
