As we have previously documented, one of the biggest perks of being signed to a heavyweight artist’s label is the chance to share the spotlight, be it on a song’s original version or its inevitable remix. For Detroit native and G.O.O.D. Music/Island Def Jam signee Big Sean, spotlight time has come in the form of a remix to boss Kanye‘s high-energy Mr. Hudson collabo off 808s & Heartbreak, Paranoid. Though the original production remains unchanged, Sean easily rides the track’s driving rhythm, fitting in nicely with West’s straight-out-of-the-80s sound. With a long, successful career hopefully ahead of him, Big Sean is focusing on the here and now, currently preparing for the release of his forthcoming The New Deal mixtape.

this song was already the bomb im likin the new guy hes got good tone. other than that felt the same. As a remix, its not too good. but the original song was.

UPDATE: according to FMQB, Paranoid is the next single off 808's & Heartbreaks along with See You In My Nightmares, except Paranoid will be remixed with vocals from Rihanna! Both songs are supposed to be released Jan 20th...........anyhoo, the song was already tight, this remix was ok but it doesnt really bring anything better to the track...

First off all...let me say this. BIG SEAN IS A BEAST! GET TO KNOW HIM! GO COP THAT FINALLY FAMOUS MIXTAPE. This is the greatest representation of his skills. Frankly, this is the worst thing I've heard he's done, and it still wasn't bad.
I didn't like the changed vibe too much, but I can still through this in rotation. I heard about that Rihanna thing too. Some people are hating, but I feel she will make the song even better and it will be great for marketing and the video. I don't think you guys should have featured this song before featuring the original version of this song. Real talk. Just my opinion. You guys really should feature it since it's been confirmed as a single...unless you are waiting for the Rihanna version. This gives a bad look at the original version for first time listeners of this song. Now their first experience has been this version instead of the original. But anyways, that was just my two cents...and then some. |

Meh...I don't really like it-.... It was kind of boring. The production wasn't hot and neither was all of their parts. Kanye was the best but still- I couldn't listen to this song again even though its not complete garbage. I HATE the hook though- HATE IT!

I'm not really feeling this. This is the first I hear of Big Sean and wasn't terribly impressed. The original is HOT though... My favourite song off 808's & Heartbreak. The Rihanna version should be an interesting listen. I can't quite imagine her improving on the original...We will see though!

i think i remember this dude from kanye mixtape right before graduation cant tell me nothin..a song called getcha some. i know he go hard on that song and this is cool. doesnt really add or take anything away from the song to me

This is the first time I've heard Big Sean, and he fits well in the song. However, Paranoid is one of my favorite songs off 808's, and I still like the original better. Overall, it's pretty good. The Rihanna version will be interesting though...
