Over the past few days, DJBooth has had its ear to the wall regarding GLC and his brand new I Ain’t Even On Yet mixtape. Ready to make just as big of a splash, however, is his newly-signed labelmate, Big Sean, whose ’09 debut will be distributed by Island Def Jam. The DJ Khaled ad-lib that kicks off Billionaire may have many listeners reaching for the stop button before the song even starts, but those who persevere will be rewarded. If Sean’s raps weren’t eccentric enough, producer WrighTrax contributes an eclectic beat, complete with cash register ‘ka-ching’s. Looking for more from Big Sean? We suggest U [GET TO] KNOW BIG SEAN when his brand new mixtape drops in November.

That promo photo is dope if I should say so myself. NO ONE SHOULD EVER SAMPLE DJ KHALED! People don't like him even when he's ACTUALLY On a track. This production sounds horrible. I don't know what this trash if. Big Sean is actually good man...if you got his last mixtape called "Finally Famous", he's beasting. Go peep "Getcha Some". I don't know what he or Kanye was thinking in releasing this. Maybe Ye is too concerned with the new album to pay attention to what Sean is dropping on the mixtape circuit. As the song continued, Sean's flow on the verses overshadowed the production a bit and it was okay. I'll give it two stars.

Kanye West is arguably the most popular artist in the world. When he gives you a co-sign and signs you to his label, he obviously thinks enough of your skills to put you under his wings.
With all that said... (and a reminder from Burmy above) it seems as though people are still just hearing the Khaled sample and judging. Nice wordplay and delivery, over semi-annoying production, from an artist who is full of creativity. If this was a single, bash away. But its a mixtape cut, so take it for what its worth. |

I'm not feelin this. I like his flow and his voice but I think the production is awful. I'm not really feelin the beat or the music...well the beat is better I guess! I won't give this a 1 only coz it has energy but it's nearly garbage to me

Production is weak. There are too many distractions that take away from his lyrics and flow. His voice is good but you really have to listen to hear it. If it were cleaned up and simplified I think it would have much better responses.

Just found this after listening to "Supa Dupa" hook is terrible quality but besides that, I like this song about 50x more than Supa Dupa.
