Play ‘N Skillz cook up an interesting smorgasbord of a beat with a challenge in mind for this Dallas, Texas band. Big Red Rooster, possess a unique twang to their musical pattern that earns their listeners’ respect. Featuring fellow Texan Slim Thug, the groundbreaking collective hope to blend their highly original sound over the patented Boss Hogg formula that gives mixed results. Major points go to them for creativity, yet with so much experimentation going on in the industry, this one may fall below the radar. Drummer Dustin Boersch and bassist Philip Griffin lay down a healthy foundation of relentless energy. For those who love to kick it and rock the party no matter the time or place, then Big Red Rooster is for you! With an unique knack at being unpredictable, How You Like That gives you a chance to pick your poison and live with its consequences.
Real nice assortment of sounds here. I agree with Kevin, the mainstream audience might not latch on with this. But, the end result here is very good. Hopefully they CAN turn some heads.
Great mix of both styles, I think that this song will deffinitely turn some heads. Slim Thug pulled it off pretty well. This has the change to go mainstream
Like the fact that people still have the courage to be orginal and do THEIR thing now wat i mean i personally would like to make remix of this and spit a verse on this
Multi-ID spits like a champ. I think these guys are versatile enough, that if given the proper chance, they could finally blow the lid off the Dallas music scene. I want more.
I really like this new trend of mixing rock and hip hop...I can see how different music cultures try to get closer to each other! I live in a country and, more in general, in a continent where rock is one of the most followed genres so I find this could be close to us Europeans! Big Red and Slim Thug killed this song, both hip hop/rock sounds are great and the chorus is rather catchy. Banger!
O HELL TO THA NAW....if i wanted rock i would go to a rock site...so when i come to a hip hop site i x-pect to hear hip hop...so thiz sucked (x-ept when it slowed down)...but even then i cant give it a 2 becuz i am not guna support thiz weird azz type of muzic.
Why do you even rate if it isn't your type of music? I don't dig country so I don't listen to it. If you don't like this type of music then pass. Anyways, I'm feeling this still. Slim Thuga!
this is the best thing to come out of the dallas music scene in years. i hope to hear more from these guys- their unique style is a fresh break from the same old crap. this song should go mainstream!
