Like many of his esteemed colleagues at Cinematic Music Group, recent Booth favorite Big K.R.I.T. really, really enjoys his weed. If there’s one thing the Mississippi native likes even better than getting stoned out of his gourd, though, it’s getting stoned out of his gourd with the woman he loves. On new mixtape leak Moon & Stars (making its world premiere here in the Booth), K.R.I.T. does just that; over his own dreamy boardwork, the artist describes a romantic, chemically assisted drive with his girl. Devin the Dude (also featured tonight on ¡MAYDAY!‘s Nothin’ (Remix)) handles guest duties, assisting on the chorus and painting an equally vivid lyrical picture on his middle verse. Though I can’t condone getting behind the wheel while under the influence, this spaced-out jam comes highly recommended. If you like what you’re hearing, you can find plenty more on the artist’s Booth-hosted Big K.R.I.T. Wuz Here mixtape, set to hit our front page May 3.

diggin' the soulful flow, worked well from the very beginning of the song. the relaxed background sounded dope at first, but really sounded like elevator music. props for doing his own production, for the most part it worked well.

Good song overall, this guy definitely has huge potential.

This production is real cool. This is more of a smokin' vibe than "Medical", something you can just smoke, drive, and zone out to. Krit came with a different flow which sounded dope and Devin was good as always.

Hip hop is into the ganja tonite. I guess the recent holiday was good motivation. Devin The Dude's like the Santa Claus of 420. I've enjoyed his 2 features tonight. Big K.R.I.T was a pleasant suprise. A lot of talent there.

Starts off real smooth and sleek and continues like that through out the rest of the song. Big K sounds great and the boardwork he has made for "Moon & Stars" definitely fits the title. Sounds like something you would listen to while looking at the night sky. Has a real out of this world touch to it.

Devin's guest verse is pretty replaceable in my opinion, nothing that really stands out. The chorus though is really well done so I have to give props there.

Usually I am not a huge fan of these type of songs but Big K.R.I.T. pulled it off from behind the board and the mic at the same time.

It must be "Independent" night on the Booth; no big name features on the home page. I'm diggin' it.

The production on this is real nice; definitely fits Devin the Dude very nicely. K.R.I.T. holds his own and, overall, this is going into my rotation. Solid track.

Coming into this, the production instantly caught my eye. There are alot of things going on at once, some of those being pretty hard to describe, but by all means they only augment the songs creativity.

Hook left me wanting more. I like K.R.I.T.'s voice on it though. He really shines with this production backing him on both aspects of singing and rapping.

His voice and flow are completely his own. He sounds like no other rapper I can think of. However, his accent may hold him back, as I have played his freestyle around my friends and their main comment was not regarding his flow, but his southern accent. In their eyes it was the main thing that they said would stop them from listening to him. I disagree. His voice, in my opinion, is what is gonna elevate him to the top. All in all, this song was good and Devin's contribution makes this a solid banger. Looking forward to May 3rd.

ever since his feature on kush and orange juice track :glass housess" ive been anticipating releases by this guy and this song doesnt disappoint.

its reall chill and funky as-well plus i hear alot og big boi influence in his flow which is never a bad thing in my ears.

hes definitly taking the road of creation on this track its reall explicitory and takes you places definitlet a song you bang(no pun inteaded) when you just wanna chill.

3 spins real solid production and nice flow complimenting each other very well.

Cool, as in lost steam a while ago cool.

It feels like a gradual heat-up, mounting nothing significant. There's just no development. I feel like it just stagnates...

Devin's verse was refreshing I have to say. Energized the song to a nice finish. The space-out feel might be the issue with me. I just wish it could have used more accents, peaks, hits, if you will.

The song was definitely crafted well as the solid production proves.

@Phantastic, absolutely agree with you on how it accentuated Devin.

Overall, good track. Simple as that.

A signal of intent, no doubt, to stick to a tried-and-tested formula that's worked previously for many others, but this achieves that sooo effortlessly.

And once again Big KRIT shows that he is capable of plenty more, and can change his style (for hook) and still get it right. Definitely a record that I'll enjoy listening to multiple times, underneath the moon and the stars.

With all these well-executed features, there's no reason one should not be excited for May 3rd.

Wow...2 DTD features in one night! I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I definately like this track better then the other one he was featured on. Another laid-back smooth production but this one works for me. Devin always brings his catchy lyrics and he always has to have that marijuana reference "let me drop the top while we puff on trees"...and Big K.R.I.T. was the highlight in my opinion. But damn where was Kid Cudi on here...I sware I heard him on this track...or maybe I thought this sounded like something he would be on haha

Krit has quickly become an artist whose material I know I will like when it pops up in our inbox. There might be other artists with more appeal or who've executed "bigger records," but nearly all of them are nowhere as consistent as Krit. With or without the DTD feature, this is a four.

You can feel the soul on this one. Has a good flow throughout, just is a bit repetitive and can lull someone to sleep after a while. Always good to hear Devin on any song personally. Solid track, just need to waken the audience more.

Delivery is nice, so dynamic!!! When it gets melodic, he does it better than your average rap-singing. There's no way you can flow like that and not spit nice lines.

Props on handling production duties, it's smooth and sets the perfect mood for the concept.

The beat, the verses, and the hook were all good for a smoking session, this would've been a stoner's anthem with Kid Cudi, and Smoke DZA, so in normal state this is in rotation, but if i was high this would be a banger.

Big K.R.I.T. is just as good behind the mic as he is behind the boards. Good lookin' and keep it up. I can't wait for a album to drop.

And this has nothing to do with the record but can someone tell me why they re-post songs sometimes? I don't get why, unless you are trying to give it more hype?

@Ghouse - If a song gets "re-posted" on the weekend, it is because it made our week's best lineup (and thus, gets two extra days of feature time on the homepage.) Make sense?
