New Orleans and Atlanta collide on the BG and Young Jeezy collaboration, Hustle. Reiterating that he is ”not a drug dealer,” Jeezy trades verses with B. Gizzle on this up-tempo ode to ’gettin that money nigga.’ Although the content is stagnant, the return of BG to the major league is exciting. Tentatively expected to drop this fall, Too Hood to be Hollywood is BG’s first album on Atlantic Records and will produced in full by T.I..
Man, almost all these songs are about how hard they are and how much money they got. Go tell a story like Chamillionaire. Why is TIP messing with this dude, Grand Hustle and Alantic Records goning down the drain.
wow, really. chamillionaire doesn't? i remember a song that was about him ridin in his shiny car with big rims and drugs stashed in it. What kind of story telling is that. stop hatin for a second give some respect to bg for making a cool song
1. Good to see BG back in the majors! He's been doing this for 13 years (he's only 26), and plans to keep doing this for a long time to come. Hopefully the Heart of the Streetz will get back on top of New Orleans (and knock off DeWayne the Studio Gangsta)
2. About Chamillionaire's storytelling ability, check this out: http://www.djbooth.net/index/tracks/review/chamillionaire-ft-slick-rick-hip-hop-police/
