The Hot Boys are back together! Well, sort of. After ‘breaking-up’ at the beginning of the current decade, B.G. has reunited with former group members Juvenile and Lil’ Wayne, for the first time in nearly seven years, for his new single, Ya Heard Me. Off the forthcoming (and heavily-delayed) Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood, the single follows previously-released records, Hustle and For A Minute, both of which saw minimal success at radio. With ultra-catchy production from Cool & Dre and a smooth chorus from singer Trey Songz, however, Ya Heard Me might just be B.G.’s much-needed recipe for a (long-overdue) winner on the airwaves. The fall release of Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood will follow B.G.’s Chopper City Boyz project, Life In the Concrete Jungle, due out on August 26.

Tha Hot BOYZ THA HOT BOYZ We on Fire!! This is what I'm talkin bout. I'd love to hear a reunion album weezy is aa complelty different MC since them days clearly he is the star of the show now, but still this is whats up right here. The beat is cool I woulda like to hear somethin stronger 4 this reunion but still as a fan this does bang!
thiz iz sick erbody killed it a summer single 4show
theres supposed to be a remix with birdman, mannie fresh, turk & Big Tymers look out the reunions album iz commin dis year
wow...im really diggin this, cool& dre produce a great beat, along with waynes catchy chorus, trey's smooth vocals, it would take an idiot to mess up this song...but BG+Juvee came pretty hard.BANGER! --did anyone else notice BG tryin to laugh like wayne in the beginning?...ha
i like dis shit. good 2 hear juvey. lil wayne could of brought it harder. but overall dis is a good song. sprinkle the BEST SINGER in the game right now. Trey motha fuckin songz. deff. in rotation
wtf? enough with the voicebox and the drugs, wayne. i didnt understand lil wayne @ all. juvy STILL sucks. wtf is trey on this joint for? no element to this song... same ish everybody be talking.... plus, wtf cool & dre? i was expecting another banger beat... booo. this song is annoying!!
=D
voicebox + lil' wayne = mediocrity to me! Can't help hating his voice, don't know what to do! The song wouldn't be bad, it has a good and energic beat, but I'm really fed up of the voicebox. The only thing which saves it from being garbage is the beat! This is my opinion
I hope this bring B.G. success. He's been grindin for a minute. His verse was hard as always. I haven't heard Juve in a minute. It was good hearing him again. Wayne killed this. Its great to hear them all back together. FREE TURK!!
Never been a fan of BG, his voice is just annoying to me. And he never had much success without Cash Money. Good to see a mini reunion though, what's with Wayne and his voicebox stealing the chorus from Trey Songz? That kind of threw off the track for me. Overall, solid song but needs some work.
YEAH BABY! The Hot Boys are back! Geezy once again tore it up here (though I can't help but think eerie thoughts about VL Mike after he said "have ya people wearin' a Rest In Peace shirt of you"). Juvie is bringing back his old-school flow again (check his verse on Bun B's "Pop It 4 Pimp" for another example); can't wait for his "400 Degreez '08" to drop later this year. As for Weezy...once you get over the fact that he's never going to be the same rapper that he was with the Hot Boys, you'll see he came correct with it too (and Trey Songz did EXCELLENT background vocals for the hook). Beat is Cool & Dre as we've never heard them before. Normally it would be a 4 (Banger) but since it feels so good to see 3 of the 4 Hot Boys back together, I'll give it a 5 (Classic). Now all I want is for Turk and the Big Tymers to show up on the remix (with Mannie Fresh producing). Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood is gonna be straight FIRE-watch for it...it's coming sooner than you think!
itz straight and im still like why they dont get back together b.g wayne juvenile man itz more than what they did itz straight and all but i still dont think that wayne shouldnt be on the chorus itz a louisiana classic
coo & dre murked this beat as well...i think b.g. might catch some success wit this song...very good collab...trey songz does well backin up weezy on the hook...close to a banger...but weezy does need to cut out on the autotune
This song is straight fiya. B.G. and Juvenile came with those raw gutta street lyrics. One of the main reasons I like B.G. so much. He never was a punchline type rapper. But he gives you that reality rap, the most rawest rapper out the south. Lil Wayne verse was straight and Trey Songz vocals was great on the track. Cool & Dre did a great job with the beat. This is going to be one of the top songs of the summer.
There is a GOD! Everyone was sick. But for all the haters Wayne's last verse on this song Is F****** ridiculous. I can't quit replayin. "And there ain't no explanation to this damn insanity, I'ma monster like I'm part of the Adam's family" Haha. Ya boi the TRUTH! They still missin Turk and they jus murdered everyone in the game "Ya Heard Me" "Now let me get high of my drugs ganders, life's a gamble"
does anyone know if lil wayne even sleeps or does he just appear on songs...maybe he does the vocals while he sleeps...some people talk in there sleep maybe he sings in his sleep
Okay first off. The Hot Boys havin an early reunion and I'm already excited. We just missing Turk and the Big Tymerz Reunion and we good. But lets get to rating this song. Beat is tight. B.G. rips this song with the help of my boy Juvy and Wayne. Trey Songz helps out the chorus. The only thing I would complain about is better tweaking of the production because it sounds like it came off a mixtape which surprises me for a Cool & Dre production. Besides that...BANGER!!
It would be nice to see a old school Cash Money reunion this track is close but needs some work. The beat could of been better Cool & Dre can't always hit it out the park and Wayne and Tre on the chorus wasn't working for me either. B.G. and Juvi did their thang tho. Wayne must be getting ready for that T-Pain album cus he won't put the voicebox down.
RainaYagurl- i dont think you really understand whatz up with wayne. he raps. he dosent sing. he puts together a flow and sets a beat with his words. he is the craziest in the game stop raggin on him. anyway........ wayne fukin kills it
OH YEAH....this is what Im talking about...been a hot boyz fan since day one....Is turk ever seeing daylight...Man this album from them got to see the light of day....it will be monster
Hot Boyz are back even thou is for B.G's album this still a Banger...like the Wayne part "gizzle let me get em
eat em up n shit em" fire put this in rotation.
Miss Rate The song was not good at all the beat was okay.I belive the could have done something more hare than that. and stop f...ing with the voice box that's not cool any more play out.
