If there are two themes B.G.‘s post-Cash Money career has been focused on, they are street credibility and staying true. Not surprisingly, a new track called Keep It Real has made its way inside the DJBooth and will appear on the emcee’s second album with his Chopper City Boyz, Life In The Concrete Jungle. Ready to show their authenticity (and expose a few fakes along the way), Snipe and Gar benefit from Geezy’s close ties to the Grand Hustle camp and are joined by Alfamega on the song’s closing verse. For anyone planning to negatively critique, Keep It Real is not intended as a single; rather, it’s an album track for their heavy fanbase in the streets, who will likely pick up a copy of Concrete Jungle when it is released on September 23.
The production is generic but good in this case. I like songs that sound like this one. The rappin is alright. Mega is one of the top rookies in the game. I'm not a big fan of Chopper City Boys, but B.G. is my dude. This one works 4 me.
This is honestly the best record their camp has sent us since they started leaking us tracks to this forthcoming release. They didn't need Mega, but he didn't hurt either. Solid production here.
I'm feelin this, im with BDF44, this kinda songs flow good with me, ill listen to it again, and is it me, or does this remind anyone else of Rock City?
Again I like the production but I'm not crazy for them. The beat is bumpin but they are a lil boring...I like the chorus, though! it's in rotation, it may grow on me
this @*#$! is hard ...ya'll dnt knw nuthing about keep it real...for me the chorus and rhymes all of them is tight ..i give this one a five ..@*#$! that almega n Gar n my nigga B.gizzle murk this song ....big up homie..
This is a nice fiya street single. All of them did extremely well on this track and the production was great. If most of the album turns out this way, then it will be a solid album, no doubt!
