Beyond Belief - 40 Seconds [Exclusive]
Artist: Beyond Belief
Producer: Kwame
Album: Rhymes & Rhythm for Relief
Label: Make Noise!!
On January 12, 2010, at 4:53 pm local time, the earth began to shake underneath the people of Haiti, and by the time the earth had calmed, less than a minute later, their lives lay in ruins. In the wake of such overwhelming tragedy people across the globe have rushed to help the people of Haiti, lending their time, resources or talent. In that spirit DJBooth regulars Beyond Belief, Kwame and Amille Harris have come together to record 40 Seconds, an exclusive new song for DJBooth’s Rhymes & Rhythm for Relief album. Centered around some aching production from Kwame, who also contributes a verse, Beyond Belief and Harris use their respective vocal skills to elevate 40 Seconds into a musical call to action: “You can change the world or just waste time, 40 seconds of your life.” All proceeds from DJBooth’s Rhymes & Rhythm for Relief album, available for download now, will go entirely to charity. Please, help however you can and show the people of Haiti they are not forgotten.

I am bias, I know.
Thank you, Bobby and Kwame. This is true artistry in the name of a great cause. Please support this project, people. It would mean a lot to us, but it means much much more to the people of Haiti who need our help! |

Man these tracks on this project are all amazing! Glad to see the artists are giving their all for this. Kwame and BB's chemistry shows through here and BB rips it. The hook is great. I'm gonna have to go with another 5-star. These songs with a message are gettin to me.

Real powerful song right here. It was moving but not too overbearing, everyone was great and brought something special. Not only am I supporting this album since it's a donation but the music is dope.

I don't need to pile on here with the compliments (though I easily could), so let me just echo Xup17 and say that Kwame really impressed me on the mic here, the man's a real double threat.
Big props to Kwame, Beyond and Amille for answering the call. It feels food to know so many people are united in their support of Haiti. |

Both my fellow Resident DJs @GStan and @HoamBoy nailed it. You shouldn't check out this project just because its for a great cause, you should check it because the music is vibrant and amazing.

I feel like the hook could've been sung harder or produced better and should've been 'chills-worthy'
