Ready to release her third studio album, I Am…, on November 18, the Houston native premiered two singles yesterday; in addition to If I Were A Boy (which will be featured in the Booth tomorrow), she has released Single Ladies. The record, which many suspected to be an ‘empowerment anthem,’ finds Mrs. Carter stressing to the women of the world not to stay single for long. The instructions she provides are a hint for the single fellas to take notice and Put A Ring On It. Known to model her material after her own life experiences, Bey did get a certain hip-hop mogul to put a ring on her finger—one with an estimated value of $5,000,000.
I heard word of this track last week, been looking forward to hearing of Beyonce's so called "new sound." I really like this track here, straight Beyonce banger. It definetly hits home with her recent marriage, so the lyrical content is hot too. Beyonce is out to prove that she's still at the top of female R&B with this new album (cough cough, Rihanna). The only thing about this song is that the chorus is a little repetitive, and I think the production could have used a little more bass line or another instrument. It's not an epic breakout Beyonce single, but this will work for now. In rotation.
what beat did they speed up.. cuz that game sound thing sounds familiar, but i cant remember what song it was... anyway. the song is ok. its different for her, i think, but its ok. she should have released "Should Have (Now I Know)" because THAT song, is a CLASSIC. this.. is OK.
Hmmmm....to briefly comment on that image...Beyonce is looking a tad exhausted. I guess that's her all natural. I love Beyonce with a passion and this song's content is great and positive. But I'm just not feeling it. It's really bland and not catchy at all to me. It feels empty. I hope this doesn't make the album. This possibly might be the worst song I've ever heard from Beyonce...and it's still better than most R&B. I don't know...maybe it will grow on me. Right now, the slate is just blank though.
SOS! The BEAT is NOT GOOD! It may have potential, but it's many flaws ruin it, mostly the annoying thing repeating throughout. Beyonce sounds great, which is a shame cuz it was wasted on this. The background music isn't even in the same tone as she! This is ridiculous, it's like she didn't know the beat or they didn't know her vocals. They don't match! Throw the beat away please! Glad Beyonce is back!

This track right here has some weak production in my opinion. I also think that this just isn't a great song for guys at all. Message is strictly for women...That's for sure! It's an annoying sound all together. I think she is the best female singer out today; but this is FAAAAAAAAAAAR from her best material. The album has to be better than this because this is garbage to me! I hope I never have to listen to this song again, but since this is Beyonce, I'm sure it will be everywhere. Hopefully the other single is way better...
I think this is the typical Beyoncè. Beautiful Nightmare (that old leaked song) was not that great, but at least it was different! I'm feeling this beat, even if it is not original. It makes me dance! I'm sure it will go in the clubs and will become famous also in Italy, and only because it's Beyoncè of course! She sounds good but the hook could have been better...for now it's in rotation, could grow on me

First, this beat is absolutely horrible! This may be Beyonce's worst sone that I've ever heard. Also, I don't think that Beyonce is the best R&B singer out today...either way, I won't be playing this at all.
