Last week, Beyoncé released I Am…Sasha Fierce, her third solo album, bolstered by the buzz from its pair of lead singles, If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies. While the latest Soundscan report was unavailable at the time of this write-up, it is believed that the Queen B (and her record label, Columbia) is pleased with a solid showing in the neighborhood of 500,000 - 600,000 copies sold. Following the unofficially-remixed version of If I Were A Boy with Lee Carr (who recently sat down in the Booth for an exclusive interview), a new rendition has made its way to our inbox, this one featuring the Pied Piper of R&B, R. Kelly. On the new remix, the Chicago native talks about what a woman would really do, if in fact she were a boy (or as Kelly wisely sings, a guy). Up next for the Houston native is the release of her next two singles, Halo (off I Am) and Diva (off Sasha Fierce).
The streaming of this song has temporarily been suspended.

At first I wasnt feeling this song that much but its grown on me and I like it now. R Kelly is the perfect male r&b artist for this song and he fits perfectl wit Beyonce. I might actually like this better than the original. Pretty hot!

Man...I wanna stop digging R. Kelly cuz he's a mad ignroant dude lately...but I gotta say that he smashed this track. His vocals matched perfectly with this joint. Hahaha....when it got to the hook though, it sounds like he went all small bus on us....lol. Listen to it over again if you don't believe me. But this was fresh. Definitely.

I am not really a fan of this song at all. I like some slow songs and I think R. Kelly is the KING of R&B and all, but this right here is just a lame sounding movie soundtrack joint. Not feeling it, but I can see how others would.

This is better than the original. And I really liked it. Kellz hate him or love him is more than likely more gifted than your favorite singer. Just like I say about so many other greats that have been accused of doing wrong. ( Michael Jackson, Kobe, O.J. Mike Tyson) their talent cannot be denied despite their characters being challenged. If you try to deny them you will be forced to eat your words and bow. In this case as in so many others, my theory applies. Disagree?

Kelly completly ruined for me. Please retire. His voice was straight but I've heard better. His lyrics were some of the crappiest I've heard. The song would have better with Ne-Yo or Chris Brown or maybe even Usher. Kelly's lyrics reminds me of the male version of Irreplacable, which sucked. The Original Rocks!

This is the best edit so far. I'm a clear fan of R Kelly's voice, it's hot, sexy and soulful...I'd nearly like him to sing without Beyonce :P

Ok so the original is great for the club scene, but your male crowd is all like wtf. Now though, lol shizzle its on. I know my crowd will be all over this one. Mad props to R.kelly for dropping this one. The Pied Piper of R&B strikes again.

I didnt like this song that much when i first heard it. But it grew on me. Its kinda old now, but it's a pretty good song. Great lyrics that are true and alot of girls can relate to. Beyonce is the queen and is introducing new style to her music. This song reminds me of ciaras like a boy, but more of a slow song.

Whatever else you may want to say about Kells, the man is probably the most gifted crooner of this generation. This remix is remarkable. I think it has "I Believe I Can Fly" cross-over potential. The problem is that the track is so unique, radio stations do not know what to do with it.

Toby Gads is on top of it however be versatile and standby for two new artists to turn out an emotion packed country version and the synergy of an electronica twist that does NOT use Antares pitch correction (that over-processed Cher sterility factor, even though she's my peer here in Vegas). I'd love to see Beyoncé's incredible vocals have a bit more energetic instrumentation behind them... been tough for our clientele to get in a dance groove with this track, whether we're running the video or not. This song will evolve which is all part of the goose-bump factor that keeps 'em on the charts.
