Featured back in August, the lead single off Belly‘s forthcoming sophomore set saw the Juno Award-winning rapper spitting game to a Hot Girl, assisted by West Coast icon Snoop Dogg. Fast-forward three months, and the Ottawa native’s on the prowl once again, this time singing/rapping the praises of a lady who can really Make It Go on a new mixtape cut. Over beatsmith Whosane?‘s smoldering, synth-driven instrumental, Belly delivers a series of increasingly hilarious come-ons, including the brilliant line “Girl, I’m a dog with a bone like a dinosaur” (if she doesn’t slap you for that one, you know she’s a keeper). Fellow Ontarian and Booth favorite Drake steps up to the mic on the back end, ending the track on a more materialistic note (“Me without no money? I feel like this is an R&B track sung by two guys without R&B voices. That's to say that I think this could be a great track by Trey Songz or Mario, but Belly didn't completely pull it off for me. Drake was cool, but his contribution wasn't enough to make the track better than alright.

Belly was right there lyrically with Drake, even on a song that sounded made for Drake. Good song over all, they work well together.

Had this on the cell for some months now..decent track though. Decent track, I see that belly change his verse though..and Meldawg you not alone, I was never caught in the hype. He is talented..but all of his music starting to sound the same to me. I'm not saying others aren't guilty of the same, but it's more noticeable when you're the topic of everyone's discussion.

"Everything's going to be fine as long as we put Drake on every hook," right? Weezy's a wise man. I wasn't feeling Belly's last single with Snoop (whose name escapes me now) but this is decent. Nothing too special, but I was vibing to it.

This song has been out for the longest. I've grown to like it. I like the dreamy vibe to it. It sounds like the re-recorded and Belly has more of a presence on it since it's his track. The previous version sounded like Drake FEATURING Belly and not the vice-versa.
Sidebar: I notice that Belly removed this laughable, tasteless line on this remake: "She like to get her p**** at like Ellen." I always felt that was the funniest rap line that I EVER heard. |

Dreams, this is a new version. The old one was scrapped in favor of this mixtape inclusion.
The production caught me at first, but the need to hear Drake on the back end kept me around. Overall, Belly does nothing to excite or disappoint.

Not feeling the first verse at all, this guy can not sing. Drake goes to work, this beat suits him well. Drake makes this worth a listen. Only ok for me.

Agree 110% with @Juanito_88 - the track would be much better suited for RnB cats. Production's cool, a smooth slow grind feel to it but their off-key singing does sorta throw the song off. Worth a listen tho!

Decent track. Catchy hook. Chill beat. A little slow for me. Wasn't feeling Belly's verse. Another solid verse from Drake. Not gunna lie, this song wouldn't have gotten much recognition if Drizzy wasn't featured.

I can totally understand wanting one of the hottest rappers on your track....to bring recognition to your self, nothing wrong with that, however,if you're wack ass hell, you can put Jay z on a with you it will prob. be a greatest rapper alive with a wack ass artist... did not like the song at all, wow, terrible.
