BBU - Home
Artist: BBU
Producer: Stefan Clark
Album: City of Win Presents W1N Vol. I
Label: Mishka Records
Fresh off the March release of their latest street album, bell hooks, BBU return to our pages with Home, a freshly-leaked cut off City of Win‘s forthcoming compilation. Here, Stefan Clark‘s bluesy, old-school-informed production sets the mood as crewmates Epic and Illekt deliver their boisterous bars. Like what you’re hearing? Then stay tuned for further releases off City of Win Presents W1N Vol. I, scheduled for release May 10. That evening, the Chicago-based streetwear brand will celebrate the project’s arrival (as well as that of their inaugural clothing line) with a launch party at the Windy City’s Beauty Bar.

I don't really like this track much. I thought the beat by Stefan Clark was a bit boring and BBU's flow is like a 2 out of 5 rating... Can't finish this...

Its pretty clear a few seconds into "Home" that the record is probably better appreciated in a live setting then out of your computer speakers. The energy is there, but I can see how Blaze (see above review) found that song fell a little flat.

I thought this beat was pretty solid. The song isn't the most technically/fundamentally song, but It has a ton of energy.
