Growing up listening to such varied acts as Rod Stewart and Prince to Mariah Carey and Blackstreet, singer Bayje (pronounced like the color beige) is using her music influences to create a sound never heard before. These innovations led Warner Music Group executive Kevin Liles to sign the 19-year-old Syracuse, New York native to a deal with Atlantic for her upcoming debut album. In addition to showcasing both her strong set of pipes and skilled songwriting, Bayje’s first single speaks to any situation where you need to Find A Way out. If their past discography is any indication (All Because of You, Can’t Help But Wait, Spotlight), production team Stargate‘s mid-tempo string beat should power Find A Way to the nationwide spins, giving Bayje her big break, and, more importantly, giving the heavily polluted music industry a breath of fresh air.

She looks a little cute in the picture and her voice lovely. Stargate's production is superb. The acoustic guitars absolutely set it off. For 19, she's unique and eclectically talented. (And not to mention, my age...lol) This is very refreshing to the ears. It's nice to hear some original R&B for a change.
Well first off she's really beautiful looking and I fell this. Like the gutar beat. And thats funny BDF44 Artest future Laker naw you guys are probally gonna be stuck with Odom.
Great voice, good single to start off with, has nice commercial appeal so I hope she gets some radio airplay. It's really nice to have a 'normal' female rnb artist; as opposed to a lot who have been relying on gimmicks and oddities to gain attention. Definitely Stargate written all over it, had the feel of spotlight by jen hudson.
I fucking don't care how successfull they are, but Stargate's stuff always sounds sooooo similar, guess they must be wack otherwise they would come up with different styles, drumsets etc. Can't stand them. Bayje is alright, I think u gotta be a die hard fan tho to recognize her voice among all those bunch of new upcomers
She in my opinion should be a hit with the ladys. The track is great nice smooth acoustic feeling and the girl has a great voice. very catchy song. I wouldnt be suprised to hear this again in the future.
This song is different, I like it! She has a good voice (she is the girl of "Impossible", isn't she?!) and the beat and music are good! it's a soft song...in rotation!
Yeah, I can really tell you are missing something this week. I don't know who gets to pick the songs you feature on here or if they have to be sent to you by the artist, but I have heard one song this week that I thought was hot and you haven't featured it yet, it's called I'm A Hood Star by Sean Paul (of the Youngbloodz). He uses the vocoder (T-Pain voice) for the hook, and it might actually be T-Pain on the hook I really can't tell. Anyway, it's on Youtube if you want to give it a spin.
