As everyone who’s familiar with Adam Sandler classic (if that word can be used to describe any Adam Sandler flick) Billy Madison, “[y]ou ain’t cool unless you pee your pants.” It takes more than urinary incontinence, however, to qualify as The Cöolest. On his first Booth feature and latest single, Chi-town rhymesayer Bardo tutors us on the art of hipness over the catchy electronic grooves of duo Allied Forces (made up of Antonio Robles and Bardo himself, who also collaborated on the record’s official visuals). For more, check out Bardo’s Out of Body tape, released last September and available now for download via Bandcamp.

The video is dope (love the Chicago skyline on the rooftop shots), the vibe is right, and the production is mellow to the point anyone listening, focused or not, should enjoy it. Bardo doesn't wow you on the mic, but he matches the song's tempo and he stays in a comfortable lane. I'd like to see him step outside the box on the next record we hear from him.

I kinda like the video. The chorus was a little off to me. Bardo has a different flow. I'll listen to the next track from him...

Love the video and the vibe to this song. His lyrics are pretty solid too, but I'm not sold on his flow yet.

This dude has a lot of potential. That said, I agree I would like to hear him step out of his comfort zone once in a while though and switch it up.
