Baker - Flu Game
Artist: Baker
Featuring: Freeze-Tag
Producer: Field Day
Album: Baked
Label: Unsigned
The latest tune from Ohio emcee Baker is sick… literally. Making his DJBooth debut with Flu Game, a reference to Michael Jordan’s legendary performance in the ‘97 NBA Finals, Baker reveals he has been bitten by the love bug. Producers Brad Puette and Marcus Ward of Field Day craft a quirky, light-hearted beat, which Baker uses to list the symptoms brought on by a special lady. Serving as Baker’s sidekick, or more appropriately his Scottie Pippen, is Freeze-Tag, who was introduced to the Booth on this past November’s Twice. The fellow Ohioan adds a pop/rock vibe with a light, airy hook vocal, which serves as an interesting juxtaposition to Baker’s deep flow. Think you have a case of Baker-fever? Than be on the lookout for his forthcoming album Baked, due out later this month.

This was OK... Flow was a bit funny, not really my style. Beat was decent.
