Baby D - Girls Gone Wild

Baby D
Artist:Baby D
Title:Girls Gone Wild
Producer: DJ Montay
Album:A-Town's Secret Weapon
Label:Oomp Camp Records/E1 Music
Website:Baby D's Website

Average Rating:   10321   1.8
Total Ratings:       29

Going from being Bout Money to being So Icey, Baby D‘s new single, Girls Gone Wild, from his soon-to-be-released album A-Town’s Secret Weapon, takes the focus off the rapper and his money and puts it on the opposite sex.  Baby D starts with a sing-song rapping style in the first verse, but that disappears in the second for a more straightforward flow, and the chorus explains that ladies just need to let their hair down, loosen up their blouse and let it all hang out in order to go wild.  Produced by DJ Montay, the beat is a little too slow to juke to, but it’s good for a one-two step.

Definitely a club beat, but reishm4 is right, this song needs a make-over.

ummmmh jesavail02 i dont think a song that gets 2 stars is a club banger.......i like the feel of the song, the chorus is alright but i agree his flow doesnt match the beat (the beat and chorus saved this song)

Ouch, Baby D isn't getting much love so far. The man has tried several buzz singles leading up to his album drop on the 29th of this month... anybody have any hope at this point?

We should abstain ourselves from basing our vote on the designation of it (In Rotation, Banger, Classic) and focus more on the stars. I mean, I can’t see why this beat can’t be considered club (banger) although the songs gets 2*, Boss dogg!? Jesavail02 is right, it’s a club beat, but it’s not good enough, so there’s no way I’d rate it as high as 4* (Banger). A classic song (5* in this case) may be very good and not even be in rotation, cuz it has the right moments to be played. So, for that reason, should I rate it as 2*(below rotation)?!? SERIOUSLY DJ Z, I’ve seen a lot of users struggling with this kind of trouble, so I’d SUGGEST the same designation we have for the albums, they’re a lot better and would prevent confusion: (below and above) Average, Solid, Near-Classic and Classic.

Dis @*#$! right here could become a #1 Billboard banger, but Baby D ruined it, he didn't go all out...give this song to Sean P and he will murder it...
DJ Montay is fool for this one...the beat is really catchy, background music is nice as well....

I think artists need to be careful of the sounds they venture into, especially if the originality of their voices or their flow is what they're credited for or what gave them their "big break". This is OK...but nothing I'd bump for the road...A far cry from 'So Icey'.
