B.o.B - I Feed These Streets
Artist: B.o.B
Producer: B.o.B
Album: The Adventures of Bobby Ray
Label: Rebel Rock/Grand Hustle/Atlantic
The first time I saw B.o.B.’s dynamic stage show I turned to DJ Z and said, “Let me guess, he’s from Atlanta, right?” Yep - there’s something about Atlanta that produces stylistically adventurous emcees, and his new single I Feed These Streets is yet another example of the ATL native’s microphone creativity. Produced by the man himself, I Feed These Streets is a snyth-heavy cut that pulses with energy while B.o.B. lays down a typically off-balance and captivating flow that can best be described as Andre 3000-esque: “I’m so exquisite with these lyrics, I immaculately spit it, but I’m from the South I got that grammar though.” It’s a little more hustler-oriented than we’re used to hearing from B.o.B, but it still works pretty damn well. These Streets will appear on B.o.B.’s upcoming album The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which currently has no release date. But don’t worry – keep it locked to DJBooth.net and we’ll keep bringing you more new music from one of the ATL’s finest musical forces.

I openly admit to supporting anything B.o.B.-related (unless he does a "Bush Back in Office" record). Honestly, how can you not back this talented young man? He is one of the reasons people talk about artists having "swagger" and this record (in particular) works in multiple forums. Try it, I promise.
Rotate it! |

B.o.B. is one of my favorite up-n-comin emcees. I loved that hook and the way the production blended with his voice. Banger!

I've seen BoB do street bangers like this and bust out an acoustic guitar and bust out some ballads. Multi-talented does not begin to describe the man - definitely one of my favorites, and this is a worthy addition to his growing catalog.

Yeah I agree with LeWy on this one, B.o.B is spitting well but the production is seriously missing something, In Rotation nevertheless.

What a sound for sore ears.
B.o.B. has recently become one of my favorites and this track is nice to listen to. However, like that1kid13 said, he does have better songs. |

I wish the lyrics on the hook were different, but this right is close to the best your gonna get outta mainstream hip-hop these days
I wanna rate it a 3 but I'll give a four since its shifted my paradigm on Bobby Ray could have used a third verse though |

Agree with majority, B.o.B is one of the most talented artist to come out in the past few years, the dude can spit, play guitar and the piano, and sing, more importantly he does it all well.
This ain’t his best joint, but definitely a nice buzz record. The bars do go hard on here, but honestly the synth-heavy, rolling bassline production come off sounding generic. Hook is fairly basic but certainly melodic and catchy enuff to receive multiple spins. But I'm quite sure this ain't the lead-single. |

Solid release by B.o.B. Agree the beat and hook are a little below his normal high standards, but nonetheless better than most of what I'm listening to these days
