AZ is a classic example of the emcee who knows how to make dope tracks, but can never achieve the commercial success that everyone expects of him. His career has been an uphill battle since the late ‘90s, when he rode on the coattails of Nas’s success as a member of The Firm. It is therefore is no surprise that on his upcoming mixtape, N4L (N*ggaz 4 Life), he imitates Nas’s recent militancy by including highly controversial songs and cover art of him hanging from a tree. I Just Wanna is actually one of the tamer tracks on the mixtape, touching on the harmless issues of getting high and paper chasing rather than lynch mobs and bigotry. The track features guest verses from Sheek Louch and Max B, and production from Addicted 4 Life. N4L is hosted by DJ Absolut and drops in September.
Listen to AZ's I Just Wanna ft. Trey Songz, Sheek Louch, & Max B More songs from AZ
Wow....not to keep talking about you WOW, but this is like the first old rapper you've ever gave a high rating to! AZ is from way back, like when Nas first came out and stuff in the mid-90s...usually rappers and song styles you don't like. This is real nice though. Trey laced the hook really nicely. AZ held it down as always and I always rock with Sheek. He smashed the track.
The electric backbeat is killer and Trey killz it. This is a good song. The lyrics could be better and faster to keep up with the beat and that is why it can't be a club.
This is alright, by the looks of the ratings I thought this would be better, under the circumstances this is kinda disapointing. Songz doesn't belong on this track. The beat is subpar, I dunno, just not 4 me
I like the beat, it's different. But I honestly expected better, considering that I usually like Sheek and Trey Songz...this is in rotation but not good enough to be a banger
michael hannah: to me it doesn't matter how old they are...for me all i need is a nice, chill, crunk, snap,or smooth beat- just not one like on that song "all that jazz"- that stuff gets on my nerves....if im happy with that and his voice isn't annoying i'll definatly like it- no matter who they are.
This beat is CRAZY right here! AZ is sounding like his late 90's self, which is a good thing! Sheek Louch is made for this beat! Sick performance by him as well (go get the howling mixtape!) Trey Songs sounds good on the chorus and the bridge! MAX B IS THE FUCKIN MAN! Go get that Domain Diego Max B album/mixtape! You will not be Disappointed! Go get Million Dollar baby part 1 and part 2 while you are at it! MAX B is a BEAST! This is a Certified DJ BLAZE BANGER!!!
i hope these young bols get to know AZ...he does after all, have the dopest verse of ALL TIME (Life's A Bitch: Look It Up Youngstas) plus he picked two perfect guest rhymers for this cuz any track with sheek and AZ gets an automatic fours stars from me.
I'm with the chorus on this one cus thats how I'm feeling right now Trey did his thang as did AZ, Sheek @ Max B. The beat was sick too this ones a banger right here AZ has never got the props he deserves.
I expected a lot more from AZ. The beat isnt really all that. Sheek was Sheek which isnt always good. And I'm not a Max B fan at all. Trey was the only on I like on here.
