Although most reviewers considered Undeniable another strong album in AZ‘s ever-growing discography, the LP has had massive trouble selling (in fact, a recent Soundscan showed the Mormon Tabernacle Choir had outsold him). Knowing his music isn’t sauced up for radio or BET spins, the Visualiza isn’t disappointed, but instead motivated to launch a new single. On What Would You Do, AZ once again reveals his stressful street experiences, which from time to time have made him want to ”let somebody have it.” Bringing the soul, feature guest Jay Rush fights victoriously in the ”belly of the beast” over an epic beat courtesy of M.O.P.‘s Lil’ Fame. What Would You Do is the fifth single to be released from Undeniable, in stores now.
Classic! Period!. He delivers every time, and maybe before I die people will recognize he has one of the craziest flows to ever be recorded. He just slides on this track, and Jay Rush gives us a nice feel. Listen to the lyrics. Dude is sickkkkk, and always will be. One of Hip-Hops finest, and still underrated. I have copped his albums over and over again and still havent been disappointed. I can't believe people don't cop this dudes album. It don't matter though, AZ will always do his best to keep real hip hop going, and does a damn good job.
AZ's flow is nice. This is a "nice" song. nothing too special. Jay Cash is being over shadowed by Lyfe Jennings with thats gospel-raspy voice but he's hood. this does not make me want to buy AZ's Album.
DJ Keith, homey's name is Jay Rush...lol...not Jay Cash. But I am definitely digging his vocals. I've actually never been an AZ fan because I never really heard a lot from him. His flow is pretty solid and can put down a great classic-in-the-making type track.
His album is good! I've always respected AZ as an MC! Ya'll remember Sugar Hill?
Hip Hop Classic!! This song I describe as a breath of fresh air on production! 4 stars! Homeboys on the hook has a soulful voice too. kinda reminds me of cee-lo green! Good work!
I’m with FrankBlvd24 and TheGreatest! This is one of them songs that may not even go in heavy rotation, but that won’t abstain me from givin it the 4* it deserves, cuz what matters is everything on this song is solid, from his straight flow to the great feature, nice lyrics… I’d give it 5* if the beat had changed a bit somewhere through the song, it made the song a bit monotonous.
A real nice listen, but this doesn't even truly showcase the talent that AZ has on the mic. For a good amount of you out there, AZ was doin' it big with NAS before you were even up on hip-hop music. Do your homework and then listen to this one again.
5th SINGLE?!?!?!?!
Its a shame...AZ hasn't dropped a wack album to date, but can't get what he deserve in the industry. Cop all the AZ albums for some fire.
I'm sorta feeling this.. But I think the real question we should all be asking is: Will AZ EVER TEAM UP WITH NAS for a track again? These two cats are unstoppable together on EVERY track that they have ever done. Is there some background about why they haven't done anything in the past few years together?
