If you know anything about underground hip-hop, you know that when you see a line-up featuring AWAR, Nottz, MURS and P Jericho, you’re in for some dopeness. And if you don’t know anything about underground hip-hop, well then I guess Until the End will serve as a pleasant surprise. Once again Nottz provides a soulfully riding beat tailor made for real emcees; real emcees like AWAR. Take an opening verse from the headliner, add in unsurprisingly solid verses from Nottz and L.A. legend Murs, sprinkle in vocals from Jericho, and you’ve got a track you can ride with Until the End. Those fiending for more raw hip-hop can keep an ear out for AWAR’s The Laws of Nature album, due out August 17. Its easy to classify this record as an underground, northeastern influenced record, but do what is difficult - classify it as dope hip hop.
