Asia Cruise may be asking the world who she is on her debut album, Who Is Asia Cruise?, but thanks to the success of her debut single, Selfish, we now know the singer’s identity and style. The R&B focus of Cruise’s talents takes center stage on her potential new single, Ur Swagger. Fellow Jive artist and producer T-Pain creates an effective mid-tempo beat, which carries the vocals of Cruise and guest Yung Joc over gentle keyboards accented by a steady drum. Joc takes the first steps on Ur Swagger, admiring Asia’s strut and the way she works it. The singer herself then assumes command, admitting to her man that she loves the way he moves and, simply, his swag. Who Is Asia Cruise? has no release date as of yet, but expect the singer to make a splash early next year.
This is Asia's best song inside our Booth to date; it has a lot to do with her R&B-eqsue sound here. Credit also goes to Pain for providing great production. Joc, as I stated in my feedback for the Jarvis feature, does great work in a limited guest artist appearance role.
Asia Cruise is definitely a looker. I usually like T.Pain's productions, but I feel this beat is lacking in the drum kit area. It needs something extra to make it hit harder and get attention. I like Asia a lot though. She's like a sexier, more talented at singing version of "Cassie". T.Pain did okay on this, definitely better than his other feature tonight. The tempo of the track reminds me of some recent Konvict Music productions, but the diversity of the instrumentation makes it smooth.
Damn it MH hit it on the nail for me once again. She is a more talented version of cassie, although I do think Cassie is alil finer. I also believe this is missing the strength of other Teddy tracks. This is a nice beat, but could have hit harder. Swagger is so over used. People stop sayin this @*#$! word!!!
speaking of donkie booty hahaha...that pic above isnt very flattering...I agree that the beat is missing that "it" but i'm still not impressed by the song itself or with Asia
This song is pretty, but not the best I've ever heard! The beat is good and Yung's part is cool, but I don't think I will listen to this again. It's in rotation anyway, could be radio played
