Having already showed us what it’s like comin’ from where he’s from and reassuring us a year later that ain’t nobody worryin’, R&B singer Anthony Hamilton is back with some brand new Southern country-soul. On November 18, the Charlotte, North Carolina native will get straight to The Point of It All on his junior album, bringing his mix of old-fashioned storytelling to more upbeat material. Still in his Po’ Folks mood, Anthony tells his woman not to worry about how little money they’ve got; as long as they have love for one another, everything’s will be Cool. Fellow country bumpkin David Banner assists with a guest feature nod and producer Kelvin Wooten supplies a mid-tempo beat that works perfectly as background music.
There are some artists who blend together like PB & J (Lil Wayne and T-Pain), then there are others that shouldn't be collaborating. I think this is one of the examples that probably shouldn't have came about. I like them both as solo (esp Anthony Hamilton), but I don't think this collabo fits right at all. I know Banner tries with the laid back feel good music, but I always seem to think about his lyrics from "Play" or another one of his dirtier songs that Anthony Hamilton doesn't make. That being said, its a really nice smooth beat and Hamiltons vocals are on point, but Banner brings it down for me.
I like Anthony Hamilton's voice its so soulful...but this track is aight nuttin special...its kinda that mood muzik...i think it could've went witout david banner...
Anthony Hamilton is the epitome of soul in this era. This I must admit is not his best work, but it is still good enough. A light hearted song to play on a bad day to boost the mood.
Man....Anthony Hamilton is always the soulful beast with his tracks. I must say that. I was agreeing with cb126405 before I heard the song, seeing the artist names together on paper. David Banner was pretty humorous on this. I will say a more sincere artist would have did nice on this, but I liked his approach. This is pretty smooth though.
mmm Anthony Hamilton is so amazing. He is so soulful and he has such a seemingly effortless flow. I like him on this and i agree David Banner wasn't needed on this track. I'm gunna give this one in rotation- I feel like this coulda been HOT but then they decided to put Banner in there instead of someone else that would have meshed a little better with Anthony.
What can i say except music is my therapy justlike my nameon djbooth. I have been feeling Anthony Hamilton since his first album dropped. Jermain Dupri knew what he was doing when he signed him. This song is hot i always liked David Banner too he is versatile.
If I could pick anyone to sing at my wedding (which has not been planned, btw)... I would choose Anthony Hamilton. This man's voice could brighten my day, rock me to sleep and motivate me to bring peace to the world. COOL does not specifically do any of those three things, but its also a very enjoyable record. Nice work from Banner too.

Anthony Hamilton and David Banner making a feel-good song about love? Quite an unlikely pair, but I liked it. Haven't heard the one with Ashes Clay, but I will find it and listen to it. Quite a refreshing change to see Banner step off in a new direction. I'd love to see this song as a video. It'll be interesting seeing how a lady smiles at Mr. Hamilton while singing to her. As a southern woman who loves southern men who don't fear changing for the better, I'd love to see Mr. Banner in a bathtub, as he smiles at his lady, too.
