This is just some good music that anyone can get into. The production, although club ready, is kinda geared to cater to plenty of different tastes at once. I love the drums, its obviously highlight of the track. The singing was cool and the rapping was interesting, but the production is where it's at.

To be honest, I enjoyed this better than both BEP singles (settin myself up for some criticism here). It flowed so much more smoothly than Boom Boom Pow or I'mma Be. When I listen to a club hit (I'mma a lil too young to be hittin the clubs... but nevertheless I like the music) I love it when production is smooth and flowing, like it was on here. That sets the whole song up to have a great sound. I'll give it a 4, just because I'm so excited for summer and this has that vibe.

I feel a little disappointed cause the beginning is really hyped up but the singing kinda throws me off and switches the mood a bit...
2:00 - 2:16 is hot tho!! good effort i think |

but see like XT13 said, the beginning gets u all hyped, just to lead into less-than-exciting verses. BOTH BEP songs get you hype all around... at least it did for me lol |

that1kid13 are you crazy, you must be scared of originality, this track has signature all over it I'm loving it. American Yard definitely sets their own tone, I cant wait for the album!!! My two year old moves to this record.

Well, I'm going to disagree with everyone above me who said this song is crap. 'Cause this song is straight up Classic!!! I love the singing!!! And as for the production...don't even get me started. Is this really a classic? So many people are giving this 5 stars... and for what? the beat is amazing when these guys aren't singing. These verses are less than enthusiastic compared to the beat. I feel like BEP would be a better fit singing to this song. Just wasn't feelin this one. |

Great beat, great for the club. And yes this is "DJ" Booth.. so we have to take that into consideration. But the verses are mediocre and the singing gets a little repetitive to me... Trust me, I agree, it's good...but I wouldn't be so quick to throw out a Classic rating on this.

I don't know what Legimate Hip Hop INc. and BDF44 are talking about saying "One Day" isn't a great song. You have to understand that this is a international worldwide banger, not some local song that's going to get spins in one region. American Yard has 3 countries (USA, Jamaica, England) in one group so you have to understand this is world music you're listening to. I envision this song playing at the World Cup, NBA Finals, Super Bowl, Olympics, and other sporting events all over the world. AY is here to stay and "One Day At A Time" is a classic!
