Virginia has been home to numerous superstars in the hip-hop field, with Timbaland, Missy Elliot, the Neptunes, and the Clipse among the biggest names. Hoping to be next name mentioned in that ‘who’s who’ list is Newport News native, Ambassador Rick, who has personally (not via the Pro Tools/E-Mail marriage of today) collaborated with current industry heavyweight, Rick Ross. On I’m Like That, major Rick (Ross) adapts to the same rhyme scheme as indie Rick (Ambassador) and they do so smoothly over a beat from producer Trax. While overshadowing tends to be a concern on these type of collaborations, it is obvious that Ambassador Rick got the most of I’m Like That.
Ambassadors flow was rally nice on this,"german engineering , em tearn them ballbarrings.. I definitely goiing to do a little research on the Ambassador
I like how their flow's complement one another... its obvious they spent time in a studio and didn't play text message tag regarding the style and flair of the song. The production is a tad repetitive, but both MCs shine. For an up-in-comer, nice start...
